  • Interview of Mr. Sandeep Sudhir Director of 18.h Consulting Private Limited

Interviewer: Can you tell us about yourself, What’s your experience and background and about your expertise? Mr. Sandeep Sudhir: I have been in this Industry for more than 25 + years, it has been a great professional journey with certainly lots of learnings so far in technology world. As my educational background, I did my B.Tech Computer Science from India and MBA from SIUC - Illinois US, I ventured into networks and Infrastructure services business in Dubai (UAE) and Muscat markets. Post that, after moving to Singapore I had an opportunity to work with top tier consulting companies such as Robert Walters PLC and Solutions Net where I was majorly involved with Software services business catering to Singapore and APAC markets. My product journey started when I came back to India being Country Head to WFM CRM company Teleopti AB, this was followed with HCL BPO Services where I was managing US and European markets followed by managing Product applications business for NICE systems and finally with Oracle India where I was handling commercial business for Oracle India for North on Cloud CRM Business (Sales, Marketing, Social). Hence, in nutshell different International markets and varied technology landscape and across various Industries such as BFSI, Manufacturing, Real-estate, Commerce, Education. I always wanted to do something on my own and believed that having worked with in different technology landscape all these years it was natural transition to translate the same for our own start-up business. Interviewer: What advice would you give to the up and coming entrepreneurs and small business corporations in order to help them grow? Mr.Sandeep Sudhir: We all are aware that “Start-ups “are and have been the buzz word since past few years but unfortunately the glitz of the same in some cases is always short lived. Despite having an excellent Product idea or Business plan any new up and coming entrepreneurs has to struggle during setting up its business base which is a harsh reality and has to go on investing capital through its various means, could be having investors under its belt, or pledging the assets it is easy to get a capital at times as that is seen but in reality the actual execution and spending each penny wisely holds the crux. Once we get in to business we are convinced on our business plans. Ideally, one should and has to have passion to grow and be profitable – which is why they are in business but having said that a sound mind set, perseverance and focused approach holds the key for any business of grow. Most of the times we have observed a great business plan on paper viz a viz its execution on ground are two different things and yet is extremely critical. Hence, orderly spending with smart cash flow management is extremely important. It is also seen post funding we try to look for immediate expansion towards hiring people in bulk and spending our cash flow towards resources I wouldn’t say it is not needed it is important but one should work wisely towards funds allocation on business operations. Secondly, to get a competitive advantage and futuristic sustainability going slow yet firm towards net new logos and new client acquisition coupled with excellent customer service holds the key to success, customer retention is important. Celebrate your success but be humble with laser sharp focus towards growth and expansion. Interviewer: How did you get the idea for 18.h? What was the process behind the creation of this company? Mr. Sandeep Sudhir: Today, 18.h Consulting is run by industry veterans having more than 25+ years of Industry experience. Our formulation is more like a traditional entrepreneurial mind set organization. If we look at any organizational business ecosystem today there are few areas which gets mandated to get addressed, we have Sales, Service, Marketing, Operations, Finance, HR and IT as core pillars for any organizations and the key is to get an insight from each function/s and look towards transformation for optimal results, be it getting Data from various BU’s and providing meaningful insights against the desired KPI’s , Automation across various multiple systems using CRM ( Process Automation or Business Process Reengineering) , Targeting Sales growth engine and securing top line for any organization using online mediums / channels ( App, Websites) or Off line medium with a mantra of customer experience and engagement. We have been fortunate to provide the services and partner with Innovative and exciting product organizations (Example: Plumb5) to achieve the same. We also observed the gaps within Corporates and Educational Institutes which demands continuous learning and self-development. Today, we have observed most of the larger Corporates and Consulting companies are thinking and executing policies around lateral assessment, helping towards employee growth and most of forward looking Education institutes wants to bridge the gap from its standard curriculum and skills desired for students to get placed via adopting the futuristic technology which at times happens to be core requirements during placements. Hence, 18.h was formulated using various lines of businesses for Analytics, CRM, Marketing Automation (MarTech) and Trainings. Interviewer: What steps do you take in order to make your company stand out in this vastly competitive field? Mr.Sandeep Sudhir: 18.h Consulting is into various areas of businesses. Hence, across our businesses its vital for us to keep the basics of business correct. First and foremost, area is of customer service post sales. Post sales handholding defines the state and genuinely of any vendor in today’s market and let us not forget customers are equally mindful of this fact and they equate their experience with brands. We try to partner with our customers and work together with them to address their business problems sometimes going far out of our way, we also own and accept our mistakes if the situation happens because of us and develop stronger relationship with our customers, this provides utmost confidence to our customers for repetitive business. We are honest in our business discussions on the areas which we can deliver or which we cannot deliver. Our experience has been keeping the above stated credentials intact and so customer stickiness develops even more stronger. Interviewer: You provide various services like analytics, marketing automation and so on. How do you make sure that you manage to deliver top notch performances in all that your company offers? Mr.Sandeep Sudhir: 18.h Consulting is in to various areas of businesses such as Analytics, CRM, Marketing Automation (MarTech) and Trainings across Enterprise corporates and Education Institutes. Hence, the fundamental for us is to understand each segment well as then positon product / services accordingly to each segments. As each decision makers and stake holders are different in terms of its business problem statements. So, understanding the pain areas more with a consultative perspective and just addressing that bit as a start point is a good start for us, this also needs to be supported by proactive customer hand holding and post-sales support and service. As we are majorly into service business, customer satisfaction holds the prime importance for us. This has certainly helped us creating our own brand and also in client acquisition. Today, we have presence in India and Singapore and have secured top marquee customers across various verticals such as Consulting, Banking, Education Institutes and Manufacturing. #Analytics #MarketingAutomation #CRMAutomation #18HConsulting

  • Google Business Model

Google is an American multinational technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products. These include online advertising technologies, search, cloud computing, software, and hardware. Google was founded in 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Rapid growth since incorporation has triggered a chain of products, acquisitions, and partnerships beyond Google's core search engine(Google Search). It offers services designed for work and productivity (Google Docs, Sheets and Slides), email (Gmail/Inbox), scheduling and time management (Google Calendar), cloud storage (Google Drive), social networking (Google+), instant messaging and video chat (Google Allo/Duo), language translation (Google Translate), mapping and turn-by-turn navigation (Google Maps/Waze), video sharing (YouTube), notetaking (Google Keep), and photo organizing and editing (Google Photos). The company leads the development of the Android mobile operating system, the Google Chrome web browser, and Chrome OS, a lightweight operating system based on the Chrome browser. How does the model work? Google’s business model is polyhedral. This means that everybody sees a different face of the company: Users: see free searches, free email, free maps, free browser, etc. and pay for some premium services like advanced email and google earth features, cloud services, payment services, etc. Companies: see website space where to put their ads taking advantage of geolocation, segmentation (specially in Youtube and Google+), etc. Developers: see a way to monetize their knowledge by means of Android apps in a kind of 2.0 of coding (here is the platform, now fill it with your contribution). Google get IP agreements with mobile OEMs, gets paid to check and use their servers as repository for downloading the apps, etc. Offline: and lately it is trying to move outside the Web with autonomous cars, working humanoid robots, smartglasses, etc. offered to a general public. What makes it so special? There are many reasons for Google’s popularity. The Google homepage is very simple, easy to use, and loads quickly. It provides users with better results than any other search engine and can find a lot of information quickly. Google shows fewer ads on its homepage than its competitors, Bing and Yahoo. The ads Google shows are more related to its users’ interests. Displaying fewer ads gives Google an advantage over Yahoo and Bing because its pages are easier to read. Google is extremely good at ranking sites in order of their relevance to users. It places value on sites that can link to other pages with similar information. The more popular sites that link to your page, the better the chance that your website contains useful information. Other features like google maps, gmail etc are now an integral part of our lives. Action oriented insights Google has spent a decade trying to gain relevance in social, going back to its Orkut network in 2004 and including products like Buzz and Friend Connect. But giants like facebook, twitter etc are potential social media competitors that can steal the spotlight. Smartphone users tend not to go to Google.com to search for hotels, clothes or gifts. They go to particular apps, meaning there is no central front door to the mobile Web. While Google remains at the middle of mobile computing with Android and popular apps like Maps, YouTube and Gmail, it doesn't control the discovery experience. Yelp has criticized Google for giving preferential treatment to reviews of restaurants and local businesses on its own service. The European Commission has spent almost four years investigating antitrust-related complaints against the company. Why is Google faced with a need-to-grow-but-can't-grow conundrum? Google controls one-third of the global digital ad market and more than 40 percent of the U.S. market, according to eMarketer. In its core online ad business, any increase to its share—certainly via acquisition—will be rigidly scrutinized.

  • Interview of Mr.Nishant Pandey CEO of Smartetouch Ltd

Interviewer: What advice would you give to the up and coming entrepreneurs and small business corporations in order to help them grow? Mr.Nishant Pandey: Like many business owners, I wasn't born to be an entrepreneur, I never planned on running a business, and I most assuredly had no experience in successfully growing one. Successful entrepreneurs are those who overcome both objective and subjective hurdles. However, over the course of my nearly 9 years of business ownership, I have learned a few things that have helped keep the bumps and bruises to a minimum while maintaining double-digit growth year over year. ADVICE I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE TO UP AND COMING ENTREPRENEURS ARE 1. Challenge yourself: - So often we fail to achieve our goals or fail to follow through with our task because we do or have sufficient guidance or motivation. Challenges set a goal and encourage you to plan a stepped process to achieve your goal. A challenge has a deadline and may be executed with other participants of the challenge. 2. Take the risk:- Risk management is important in an organisation because without it, a firm cannot possibly define its objectives for the future. If a company defines objectives without considering the risks, chances are that they will lose direction once any of these risks hit home. it is basically to identify potential problems before they occur so that risk-handling activities may be planned and invoked as needed across the life of the product or project to mitigate adverse impacts on achieving objectives. 3. Have a vision: - A vision is a vivid mental image of what you want your business to be at some point in the future, based on your goals and aspirations. Having a vision will give your business a clear focus, and can stop you heading in the wrong direction. 4. Face your fears:- It implies analysing it, thinking and creating a path which could help you overcome that, following that knowing that you can see the other side of your fear i.e. overcome it and at the same time knowing that things might not turn out to be the way you want. It simply means "TRY" irrespective of what the result it. 5. Build a great team:- Remember that the most effective team leaders build their relationships of trust and loyalty, rather than fear or the power of their positions. The purpose of creating teams is to provide a framework that will increase the ability of employees to participate in planning, problem-solving and decision making to better serve customers. Increased participation promotes: a better understanding of decisions, ... more ownership of decisions, processes, and changes, and more ability and willingness to participate in performance evaluation and improvement. 6. Ask for customers’ input: - This is very important to know your customers input as only than you can meet there taste. This is very important to understand there need to satisfy them and always deliver more than expected. This will bring him back to you in future as well. Interviewer: How did you get the idea for Smartetouch? What was the process behind the creation of this company? Mr.Nishant Pandey: As we see mobile technology has dominated the world through providing information at the fingertip. Smartetouch company established 3 years ago with objective of providing ease for customer to communicate with Restaurant just by their mobile devices through apps. We designed our own CRM and Online order management system ( OMNI ) which was used by more than 100 restaurants in United Kingdom. With such a overwhelming response we encouraged to do something innovative and our research team has opened many possible doors of opportunity to work into the field where the technology wasn’t introduced before. At present, Smartetouch company isn’t working only in Website/ IT field but also we are working with more than 25 government agencies and implemented 50+ projects in different sectors. We are leader in Human Resource Management for Indian Police Department, Oldest company in United Kingdom with our Restaurant Management System, and a most experienced team in Web & Software Development with 500+ Client base Interviewer: What steps do you take in order to make your company stand out in this vastly competitive field? Mr.Nishant Pandey: In a competitive world, if you can’t keep yourself cool, stay focused, and find a way to win against all odds, you’re toast. Here are some practical steps which I followed and got a good results :- 1. Deliver extraordinary service : Plenty of businesses say that service is what makes them different. However, just saying it is not enough. You have to deliver extraordinary service that you can’t get anywhere else. 2. Address customer pain points : If you want to win customers over, a great way to do that is to alleviate their pain. Think about how you can solve a common problem for your customers and you’re sure to stand out. 3. Do business differently than your competitors : If you want to stand out from your competitors, it pays to do business differently than they do. Finding and exploiting holes in their business model is a great way to set your company apart. 4. Focus on a narrow niche : When you try to serve everyone, you serve no one. This is especially true with service-based businesses. Adapting your model or approach for a wide variety of businesses is not cost effective for your business and it makes it harder for people to know if your company is a right fit. 5. Create a powerful offer or guarantee: Guarantees are a great way to reduce the perceived risk of buying your product or service. Eliminating the hesitation for making a purchase can lead to more sales. Plus, a guarantee can also make your company seem more trustworthy and likable. 6. Create a memorable culture : Creating an amazing company culture cannot only help you attract and keep top talent, but it can be a powerful marketing tool as well. 7. Create a cause marketing effort : Giving back to the community through a cause marketing effort is a fantastic way to make a name for your company, while also doing some good. Essentially, cause marketing is the idea of creating a partnership or relationship with a non-profit or cause. The idea is that the business lends its time, money and expertise to help promote the non-profit. This support helps the non-profit and the business also benefits by being affiliated with a worthy cause. Interviewer: What are your future plans in order to expand your company further? What new things do you plan to do? Mr.Nishant Pandey: Growth and expansion are key goals for most business owners and entrepreneurs. We are currently working with Different state law enforcement agencies to solve real world problems with help of IT & Technology. We will soon put the whole administration on automation. Future is of Public & Private Partnership and we are dedicatedly working for it. Here is my business expansion strategies to next level :- ● Add new products and services. ● Sell more products and services to our existing customers. ● Target new customer markets. ... ● Open another location. ● Win more government contract. ● Merge with or acquire another business. ● Expand globally. ● Expand and build online presence that is on Internet Interviewer:How did you manage to garner such success in digital marketing in such a short amount of time? Mr.Nishant Pandey: A digital marketing is for developing, implementing and managing marketing campaigns that promote a company and its products and services. It plays a major role in enhancing brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving website traffic and acquiring leads & customers We garner Success in Digital Marketing due to following reason :- ● BY BUILDING A CONTENT STRATEGY ● BY IMPLEMENTING SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION (SEO) ● BY USING INBOUND MARKETING, NOT INTERRUPTION MARKETING ● BY CREATING SOLID LANDING PAGES ● BY FOCUSING ON YOUR WEBSITE ARCHITECTURE ● BY DEVELOPING A SOCIAL MEDIA PLAN ● BY USING ANALYTICS TO FIND OUT WHAT’S WORKING This wasn't overnight success but yes it's a way to go further and think beyond boundaries. Government trusts private agencies and we all must keep faith in system. We are happy that we are doing this ! #webdesigning #WebDevelopment #SEOOptimization #SocialMedia #Smartetouch

  • Interview of Mr.Pramod Saggar Director of Digital India Technology

Interviewer: What advice would you give to the up and coming entrepreneurs and small business Corporations in order to help them grow? Mr.Pramod Saggar: Keep your accounting up-to date; write down all your thought and ideas on paper, do not trying to store everything in your mind. Before start up anything make budget with at-least 6 months backup plan, because the market is never constant in India. Hire good people, because without good team you cannot grow. Use maximum technology to manage and retain your customers. Appreciate each person in your organization. Appreciate publicly & shout privately. Commitment is the key of success. Interviewer: How did you get the idea for DIT? What was the process behind the creation of this company? Mr.Pramod Saggar: This is a long story, but I am trying to save your time. Let me tell you in brief. The story starts from Sri Ganganagar Rajasthan, where I am born. I am a collage drop out. I am not a good student. So many times my teachers said that you never get a job! I know that they are absolutely right. I know what I am, and where do I go. Few months later… I read a newspaper cutting, where I found an article called “Make Your Future in IT” and the address mentioned on the article was in DELHI. I took that newspaper and went home, and asked my father. Do you really want me to do something good in my life? He said: YES. I gave that cutting in his hand and said I want to go DELHI. My father said BETA abhi tumhare exam chal rahe hain, vo to pure de do. I said PAPA JI mera padhai me Mann nahi lagta. Next week I and my father came to Delhi. My father setup everything for me and went back to Sri Ganganagar. Now the next journeys started up in DELHI. That diploma course is approximately 14 months’ time. But very soon, I got to know that they are wasting my time again in literature, which I hated in my school time. Very soon I started up a venture called Red Hat Infosys in 2003. I am very happy with my work. One day I had call from my best friend Hemant. He Said Bhai Tu Mumbai AA JAA. Yha per IT me bahut scope hai. Within a week I have decided, IT’s time to start a new journey, because it is Mumbai calling… 22 November 2007. I landed up in Mumbai. And in 2008 January 1st week we incorporate a company called Red Hat Infotech. The concept and idea was mind blowing because Mumbai is very professional city in INDIA. We get very good response in few weeks. We are growing like a WOW. In 2010 we have decided to open up a new branch office in DELHI. Because the staff is available at a cheaper cost rather than Mumbai, but that idea was not HIT for us, because we are not capable to manage two branches, we manage our Delhi office well, but our Mumbai office fell down day by day, within a year we fell down. Because our expenses was higher than our income. I came back to Mumbai to manage all our clients and employees, but I think I was little bit late. Few of our well-trusted team members started their own venture separately and capture all our team members as well as clients. But I never allow myself to knee down. I did my level best in that bad time, I want to survive anyhow so worked hard. My partner never came in Mumbai after his marriage, I ran that branch alone. But somehow my partner was not that much happy with my performance, and he thinks that he was the only one, who is doing work for this organization. One day he called me and said. I don’t think we are working together. Let’s separate our business venture. I was very shocked with his words, but I had nothing to say, because I did not want to explain. I left my own company for my friend, because money is never important for me, I always love my Friend. He is a good man. The very new journey started up NOW……. I know I have to do something for my employees and me so I have to start up a new venture with the new name, now the DIT came in picture…. “D” is called DIGITAL &“IT” is called information technology. Digital India is a very famous name in 2015 because of Sh. Narendra Modi ji, so I decided to use that name D for Digital I for India &T for Technology. This is the history behind DIT. www.dit.com is not available dit.in is already take by government of India so I decided to manage with dit.asia. DIT is the proprietorship company formed in December 2015 with the very small amount but with the very Big vision. This was the small story behind DIT. Interviewer: What steps do you take in order to make your company stand out in this vastly competitive field? • Interview of Mr. Gangesh Pathak Founder of Saletancy

Interviewer: What advice would you give to the up and coming entrepreneurs and small business corporations in order to help them grow? Mr. Gangesh Pathak: Starting up something on your own is the risk. I am an entrepreneur by accident but I found few things during my journey as of now which should be taken care by Coming entrepreneurs and small businesses: If you do not have like minded partner or team, this is going to increase your risk 10 times. Be very choosy about Partner with whom you are starting your new business life. Make sure they are aware about your vision and mission Never hire employees on basis of they can do something specially in case you are startup, hire on basis he/she love to do what you are offering they fit to your culture and should be emotionally invested in your business. Price never matters Quality matters focus to provide quality solution, you can on-board client with low price but cannot retain. Sometimes small good things happening makes us over excited we should avoid this may put us on risk. Interviewer: How did you get the idea for Saletancy? What was the process behind the creation of this company? Mr. Gangesh Pathak: I have many things to say on this but I will brief in short. When I was looking to start my first Startup in 2016, I noticed there are huge marketing budget we require to get it done and as per my research, marketing agencies were charging too high anyway it was failure due to some reason at that time we worked on that 2 months and we decided to quit. However, when I came to know my present co-founder was working on profile, which was business development itself, we decided to revolutionize this business development process with affordable solutions and help Startups to hire us in low cost rather than hiring in house team to optimize cost and increase productivity. We founded saletancy in my College days, when I was in third year of B.Tech. Saletancy was brought to life from a mere notion in Ghaziabad. When we were looking to start, we had nothing except mobile phone in hands with Internet facility provided by JIO “hahaha”. We began this persisting journey from a rented home, where I live. We initiated connecting companies to offer our ideas how we can help them to grow and pioneering companies. Some denied and some hired us for free but start paying as soon as they got exponential growth in their businesses after failing multiple times we have 50+ clients as of now which includes Startup to Top MNCs of India and abroad too. Interviewer: What steps do you take in order to make your company stand out in this vastly competitive field? Mr. Gangesh Pathak: Saletancy is working on unique concept as per our research No similar companies entertain Startup and SMEs . Their Charges and payment terms are not affordable but seeing that most of startup shutdown with lack of Marketing we had come up with affordable Solution, That is the reason we have new startups to Top MNCs in our client list. Interviewer: What are your core values? What measures do you take to stick to your core values? Mr. Gangesh Pathak: We love what we do. It is never work — it is always fun and new challenges are met with enthusiasm. We deliver what we promise and add unexpected value to our clients’ businesses. We often demand more of ourselves than our clients do. We believe New problems can’t be solved by Old ways we changes ourselves in resonance with sales and marketing changing itself. We’re about accountability and predictable outcomes. The bottom line is always top-of-mind. We believe in the simple, not the complex. We work with you, not for you this small word means a lot to us and base of saletancy on which we say us we are awesome we are different. We understand the fact no-one knows your business better than you do . We follow these three rules to which applies for client and our team: Rule #1 We need to be emotionally invested in client business in order to give them best work same we expect from our employee. Rule #2 If we feel we can't make a meaningful difference over what our client already doing, we won't accept them as a client. It applies to our employees too Rule #3 If we feel we would be too much of a drain on client finances, we will not accept them as a client. Interviewer: What are your future plans in order to expand your company further? What new things do you plan to do? Mr. Gangesh Pathak: When we started with Single channel marketing (Call Only) there were many assumptions that we are a “Call Center” we are a “BPO” but from day one when we started we were aware about our goal. We are not only a marketing Company It is going to be a Global brand to provide every solution of Sales and Marketing in every domain past 10 months we had proved how we are upgrading ourselves. How rapidly we upgraded us from Single channel to Multichannel marketing (having six channel) and we had had come up with two unique products. We have India’s first free crowdsourced platform, we have unique Saletancy automated pipeline to automate marketing we are upgrading these products to make more effective more productive day by day. • Interview of Mr. Narayan Mallapur CEO & CoFounder of Innowayt

Interviewer: How did you come up with the idea of your company? What was the process behind the creation of this company? Mr. Narayan Mallapur: My Co Founder Vikas Khanduri and I, both have over 22+ years experience each in the travel domain, the last 15 years in leadership positions. Having worked in this domain for so long, we understand its working so well and also the gaps. Despite Online companies coming up in travel in the last decade or so, in the activities and tours even today, globally 80% is offline business, providing us a huge potential. The target market size is $ 110 Billion and growing @ 9% per annum( Phocuswright Research 2016) We ourselves have seen DMC’s and travel agents pain points since we closely worked with them for several years. To address this problem, Innowayt was born. We spoke and interviewed a wide range of DMC’s ( travel suppliers ) and travel agents from several countries so as to validate that we are addressing their pain points. We started with the development on November 1st with 7 Engineers and at each stage of development, validated and got feedback from the suppliers and agents, We registered the entity in April and recently received the Start-up Certificate from Start-up India. As the work demands, our team is growing. Interviewer: What steps did you take to make your company stand out in this vastly competitive field? Mr. Narayan Mallapur: We have received an excellent response since we did a beta launch on May 28th that’s primarily because we are addressing to the acute need of a good solution to the pain points existing in the tours and activities across the globe. We would continue with the development with feedback and validation at each stage to have the right product. We would come up with innowaytive solutions that mitigate the problems that the customers face today, making their life easier and simpler. We are about to introduce payments module which would enable the travel agent to make outward remittances sitting at their desk instead of a tedious process that need to adopt of going to their bank, handing over the documents etc- all this would be enabled through Innowayt platform. Interviewer: What are your core values? what measures do you take to stick to your core values? Mr. Narayan Mallapur: Our core values are to have transparency with everyone that we interact as well as do business with. Both, Vikas and me have known each other for over a decade and worked together and we ensure that this philosophy is ingrained in all the team members that we have and will have in the future. To do business ethically and being transparent in all our dealings. Interviewer: What are your future plans in order to expand your company further? What new things do you plan to do? Mr. Narayan Mallapur: We have started on-boarding the DMCs from various countries right from start, we first would be tapping the Indian travel agents network to begin with, followed by Europe, US and GCC countries. Fortunately, for us, being in this domain for decades, we have already been able to identify the people who would join us at an appropriate time and most of them is within our network and have worked together before. We would also be providing the travel agents the options of travel insurance, Forex and others such travel related services to provide all services under one roof. Interviewer: What advice would you give to the up and coming entrepreneurs and small business corporations in order to help them grow? Mr. Narayan Mallapur: I would like to share a few points without sounding cliché: Idea alone is worthless, unless you plan and execute it There’s no ‘ right age” you can start at 14 or at 55, age is just a number ( while I started working at the age of 16, I turned entrepreneur at 55) You do something, which is a passion for you, something you are good at. Hire people who are better than you at work Find a co-founder whose skills complement each other Make something what people want You really need to believe in yourself and what you are building, while everyone else may be naysayers Don’t give up and take “ no” for an answer #Travel #B2BTravel #travelagent

  • Interview of Mr.Suresh K Goswami Director of JSWM Productions

Interviewer:What advice would you give to the up and coming entrepreneurs and small business corporations in order to help them grow? Mr. Suresh K Goswami: Clear Objective, Passion, Clear vision and Focus are the most important tools that an entrepreneur must possess in order to grow successfully. One must see a well-defined objective with full confidence and without any other optional thought. One single focused mind with extreme passion to achieve the final objective has indefinite power around anyone who has nothing else but one single motive, is definitely bound to succeed. Interviewer:How did you get the idea for JSWM Productions? What was the process behind the creation of this company? Mr. Suresh K Goswami: In 2010, I happened to visit Kashmir after a very long time. I was fully aware that my birth place and the motherland had been terribly molested by militancy, politics and selfish elements reducing the most beautiful paradise to merely a blood soaked battleground. I also had the full knowledge of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits, when nearly a million people had to leave their homes in Kashmir and run away in search of safety, security and shelter. But I was not aware of the terrible status of their life after the exodus. So when I visited Kashmir in 2010, I came across many refugee camps where Kashmiri Pandits were managing to survive the most miserable life one can imagine. I was touched but did not feel bad, I got just furious &felt very guilty for not being aware of what my community was going through. At that time I was CEO of Sohar Steel PLC, Oman. I resigned and flew back to Jammu. Stayed in one of the camps, lived with the extreme misery and the innocent refugees for a few months to feel and live their sufferings. I felt completely helpless because I could not think of any solution to the problem. But I was able to decide from that point I would write and make films to showcase the present Kashmir to the entire world. So I set up JSWM productions, an independent production house. Within one year JSWM produced and released a feature length Docudrama on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits“Ziyarat”, which was eventually screened and honored in many International Film Festivals around the globe. That is how JSWM Production started. You can find more details on this film on the following ink of my website http://www.filmsandfilmfestivals.com/ziyarat-film Interviewer:What steps do you take in order to make your company stand out in this vastly competitive field? Mr. Suresh K Goswami: JSWM is a very small set up at my residence in Lavasa, but it’s a complete production house where we process the films completely from script to the finished product with no external support. The only factor which is responsible for the company performance is the quality of content. The films produced so far including my published book “Burning Sapphires” have received recognition and honour on a global level. So I would confidently say that the company has maintained a very high content quality and dedication to match the vastly competitive field Interviewer:You provide various services. How do you make sure that you manage to deliver top notch performances in all that your company offers? Mr. Suresh K Goswami: We work for ourselves. We make films for ourselves. We do not make any commercial films. Our films and documentaries based on Social Issues. Interviewer:What are your core values? What measures do you take to stick to your core values? Mr. Suresh K Goswami: Focus, clear objective, honesty and our passion Interviewer:What are your future plans in order to expand your company further? What new things do you plan to do? Mr. Suresh K Goswami: We were co promoters in establishing Delhi International Film Festival in 2012. But we withdrew our partnership from the first festival immediately after the first event in December 2012 during which our partners did not adhere to our policy of integrity, honest and clarity. We want to develop International Film Festival, Book festivals and performing arts and craft festivals in Lavasa Maharashtra. We are working on setting up a Star care centre for those people (All Ages) Who are unable to sustain normal life and need help in day to day living Interviewer: You have worked with so many companies. What do you think makes your clients decide to keep coming back to you? Mr. Suresh K Goswami: The goodwill and relationships can only be maintained with honest efforts, performance, integrity, trustworthy relationships and passion. Interviewer: How did you manage to garner such success in such a short amount of time? Mr. Suresh K Goswami: We strongly believe that if you tread sincerely in a well-defined clear direction with complete and honest passion coming straight from your heart, the entire universe around you comes around and supports you. #Film #FilmFestivals #FilmContent #Script #FilmFestival
