  • Deepthi Babu, Founder at Salt World

Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business? Deepthi Babu : I had a hunger of starting a unique initiative which does not carry any side effect neither to the environment nor mankind. I do not want to start something which every other person wants to compete with me. I believe in providing out of the world experiences and unique promising concepts. Not only that, also I wanted to build a healthier community by providing natural holistic therapies which are promising but unheard. With that urge I founded Salt World in 2017 with the aim to revolutionize the wellness and non-invasive therapy space in India. I focus on the health care sector that impacts people positively with zero adverse effects on their health. Salt Room Therapy and Float Therapy being extremely popular abroad, with intense research I realized the widened benefits of the therapy and limited knowledge of Indians about it. I am also a Member of the Salt Therapy Association, USA; Great Companies: What are the various products/services provided by Salt World? Deepthi Babu : Salt World offers natural, effective and drugless therapies such as Salt Therapy (aka Halotherapy) and Float Therapy (aka Sensory Deprivation). The therapies / services we deal with are unique concepts. Mimicking micro-climate of the original salt caves from Eastern Europe and also the concept & experience of the dead sea, Jordan to benefit people around, we are bringing lights on healing aspects of different salts and how it can help in holistic drugless natural therapies Salt Therapy helps to relieve various respiratory and skin conditions. Halotherapy is a holistic treatment which takes place under simulated conditions of a natural salt cave. Dry microscopic salt particles when inhaled access the deepest area of the respiratory tract to cleanse your lungs of pathogens, smoke residues and pollutants. The therapy also enhances your child’s immunity and improves endurance. Float Therapy (REST - Reduced Environmental Stimulation Therapy) provides absolute relaxation in a zero gravity environment through the Sensory Deprivation Tank. Float Therapy involves floating in a tank filled with Epsom salt dissolved in water. This concentration adds buoyancy to the water that allows you to float and feel like floating on air. The experience can be compared to the floating experience in the Dead Sea. Floating in a zero-gravity environment allows your mind, body, soul to completely rest, relax, and reset. By eliminating the gravitational force pulling on the musculoskeletal and nervous systems, you can effortlessly relax, recover, relieve pain, and improve sleep in this unique state We also deal with certain products which come under the category of Healing Salts like epsom Salt, aromatic bath salts and salt lamps. Great Companies: What makes Salt World different from hundreds of other wellness firms? Deepthi Babu : We offer contact-less therapies that are promising and proven scientifically. No other wellness firms can offer exclusively contact-less therapies other than us. Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face? Deepthi Babu : I had started Salt Therapy center wholeheartedly with my own willpower knowing that there was no awareness about it in the market. I strongly determined that I must create the market. The will-power & the hopes we had, dragged us to the results. In 2 years Salt World got media attention, people voluntarily started asking for franchisee partnerships when we had not opened up for franchise opportunities, Then launched float therapy having Asia’s largest float tank, it attracted NRIs & foreigners giving very positive feedbacks & testimonials and that had encouraged & motivated me to keep going and excel in business. The challenge we face is lack of awareness and we are struggling to spread the awareness about it to more and more people. Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Salt World? Deepthi Babu : Want to see Salt World in all the major cities in India and want to create more employments especially for women Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be? We are very optimistic and have a self-driven attitude that keeps us strong to survive this pandemic and move ahead. Having positive thought, spreading positive vibes, being optimist, self-motivated and hoping for the best are the key. Last but not the least, Persistence is something which one can never forget. We will ask the same to be followed as guidelines

  • Manish Tahiliani, CEO at Voxturr

Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business? Manish Tahiliani : Most traditional businesses have now gone digital, necessitating a growth team that can make a difference, not the usual digital marketing team. Having identified the gap between what businesses need and what they get, this idea dawned, and I went ahead with Voxturr. Voxturr's genesis lies in addressing this gap and simultaneously understanding that new-age business needs new-age solutions. Technology and marketing are progressing at the speed of light. Every day new tools are launched. So businesses need teams that can innovate, experiment with different tools, and bring solutions to the table rather than continuing with the old-school, passive marketing mindset. Voxturr is all about a new-age agile approach to work. The idea is also to create talent for the new-age business needs that involve strong marketing skills added with technology to support the speed of execution. Great Companies: What are the various services provided by Voxturr Manish Tahiliani : Voxturr is a growth hacking agency focused on achieving rapid and sustainable business growth for its clients. Voxturr is a team of 25+ individuals with expertise in Growth Hacking, Digital Marketing, B2B Lead Generation, Marketing Automation, Data Science, Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing, UI/UX, and Product Development. The team is committed to delivering growth solutions for a wide range of businesses. We offer different marketing solutions to companies across the globe, from startups to Fortune 500 companies. Depending on their requirements, we offer customized solutions to our clients, such as: Pre-Launch Marketing Early Stage Traction B2B Lead Generation SaaS Product Marketing Webinar Marketing Marketplace and eCommerce marketing Robotic Process Automation Business Intelligence Great Companies: What makes Voxturr different from hundreds of other Digital Marketing Agencies? Manish Tahiliani : Some key differentiators make Voxturr different from other Digital Marketing agencies. We are entirely different because we believe in the power of innovation. Other agencies are primarily meant to manage the various aspects of digital marketing. But in the new-age scenario, businesses need more than just that to thrive in the competitive landscape. This is where Voxturr becomes the right fit because our proven methodology, out-of-the-box thinking, and data-driven approach help our clients explore every growth opportunity. We help early-stage startups and mid-stage startups find strategic growth opportunities, churn out innovative ideas, and bridge the gap between requirements and solutions. It has resulted in our clients witnessing a tremendous increase in traffic, leads, and sales in their business. Innovation is key. Companies need to stay ahead of their competitors in this rapidly growing business landscape, and Voxturr is equipped to do it all. We want to build an agency that is empowered to think innovatively, which involves experimenting with creative ideas and structuring approaches to boost overall business growth. Every experiment is an opportunity to learn. We scale up the ideas that work and chuck out those that don't. All our experiments are backed by data churned out from analytical tools, competitor analysis tools, etc. We build our strategy based on data, experiments, and analysis, whereas other agencies only manage branding or marketing. Our research and data-driven approach help us design campaigns that can take companies to the next level. In other agencies, the stakeholders are directly involved in churning out ideas and directing their teams to act in a certain way. At Voxturr, it is neither ideal nor preferable. The team is intelligent enough to bring their ideas to the table and experiment with them. It is a difference between active versus passive, and it's a big one. Sustaining a growth mindset requires setting up internal processes. For instance, we conduct Scrum, where the Project Manager touches base with all the projects on a daily basis to ensure progress and that a project grows every day, unlike in other agencies where it is done every week. We ensure daily progress with an agile methodology and our feedback mechanism. Every team member takes ownership of their work and is held accountable for what they do. They know whether their work impacts the overall business or not, unlike in other agencies. This is the crux of Voxturr. Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face? Manish Tahiliani : Challenges are intrinsic to every venture and adventure. The primary challenge we face is to have an internal process setup that allows our growth agency to operate and sustain itself. Finding new ideas, touching base, and contributing to the growth of a project daily is time-consuming and challenging. We commit to growth and deliver it. But delivering on our commitments and keeping the system in momentum when, for instance, a team member falls sick or is unavailable is challenging. It is one thing to say things theoretically. But it is quite different when you get down to implement it practically. The work process at Voxturr is quite different from other agencies where you commit to delivering on a specific goal, and that's all about it. At Voxturr, that's not it. There is more to it. For us, project management has to be flawless. Getting the team to work together, discussing every aspect of a project, and ensuring the work is delivered by the end of the day is challenging. Maintaining that ecosystem every single day is a struggle. To make every day count, make every day a learning process, and carry out impactful tasks is a challenge. We are continuously trying to prove to ourselves that this growth mindset model can work for us. To be the go-to agency for hi-tech-driven, marketing-driven businesses is a challenge. Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What do 5 years down the line look like for Voxturr? Manish Tahiliani : We have envisioned becoming a complete digital transformation solution provider. In alignment with Voxturr, we are conceptualizing a new venture - VoxturrLabs - and will launch it soon. VoxturrLabs would be a development agency for new-age businesses using low-code and no-code technology, providing 360-degree digital solutions to businesses. We aspire to enter the market of emergent technologies such as AI, ML, etc., not just for marketing but other business areas as well. We strive to build a complete marketing and technology-driven digital transformation company that provides end-to-end 360-degree solutions. Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting, what would it be? Manish Tahiliani : Someone who is just starting out must, as a holy grail, keep their team lean, rely on automation, and employ low-code and no-code technologies. That is the key to growing. One doesn't need a heavy-duty team in the initial stage, so keep your resources lean until you get the proof of concept. In this era of automation, one does not need many people for manual work because RPA takes care of the recurring tasks. This way, one doesn't have to hire and fire people. Have core people within the team and outsource the rest. Make use of low-code and no-code technologies to scale up your business. This should be the key philosophy for anyone starting out with a new venture. Webiste : https://voxturr.com/

  • Swati Verma, CoFounder at Ungrammary

Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business? Swati Verma : Being from a top tech school in India (IIT Roorkee), I had a chance to meet and learn from the best brains. IIT as a platform has given me an opportunity to explore many things and it was during my final days at the college, I got inclined towards the juncture of analytics and creativity. The idea of starting an analytically driven design firm was hence seeded there. Later I realized that this combination fits best in user experience design, and here we are. Great Companies: What are the various product and services provided by Ungrammary Swati Verma : Ungrammary is hyper-focused on one particular service, which is user experience design. We are a pioneer in this field and are among one of the best in India. Great Companies: What makes Ungrammary different from hundreds of other UI/UX design agencies? Swati Verma : Unlike most service industry companies, we do not intend to build a design factory where our team members have assigned desk jobs. Instead, we try to get selective talented individuals and nurture them to produce top-class work. Each team member can ideate, collaborate with senior members, clients, and external agencies to turn ideas into existence. Ungrammary envisions bringing design's top thought leaders under one roof. While many UI/UX agencies provide design services, only a handful are highly focused on user experience and emerging as thought leaders. I am glad that we are one of them. For the past two years, we are constantly in top 5 positions in India's creative hub, Mumbai. Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face? Swati Verma : When we started, it was hard to work on an idea which no VC firm will fund. We didn't intend to focus on the scale, rather the qualitative approach, although knowing that it would be a challenging and long route. The only way to pursue our dream was to bootstrap and start from the little saving we had from our six months of first jobs. Another challenge was to tap the global market where the direct competition is with the European countries with their base as a design hub. In the initial two years, we worked hard to built our brand in the international market to get overseas projects. In the third year, we started getting the result. Ungrammary received a commending response for the work we did for our clients in the form of testimonials and international awards. And since then, we have been working consistently hard to build what we envisioned. Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Ungrammary ? Swati Verma : We are on a path to become a thought leader in user experience design and represent India globally as a design hub. Within a short span of time, we have worked on large-scale national and international projects. Our portfolio includes Kotak Mahindra Bank, VMware, Fossil Group, Enphase, BARC, Nerolac Paints, and others (non-disclosable) projects with over 60+ brands in 10+ countries. Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be? Swati Verma : There is no perfect time to start. Just start. Also, I would like to add that industry is full of wonderful mentors. Don't hesitate to reach out to them. Website : www.ungrammary.com

In the last corporate assignment as a Sales Training Head for a Multinational Luxury Real Estate Company, I was able to enhance the sales capabilities of 800+ Sales professionals, which resulted in a 31% increase in turnover amounting to $1.2 Billion, in just 1 year. That's when I thought that such powerful knowledge on structured sales and negotiation should not be restricted to just one organization, and hence I started 24 Karat Training International in 2017 to reach out to people globally, and add immense value to their lives. Great Companies: What are the various services provided by 24 Karat Training International? Mihir Koltharkar : We provide customized training sessions for organizations as well as public sessions on Sales (Impossible Sales), Negotiation (PowerFULL Negotiator), Key Account Management (KAM Unlimited) and Sales Leadership (Sales Leadership Mastery). Sometimes, based on availability, we also undertake requests from Business owners or Professionals in Management Positions for 1:1 coaching programs. Great Companies: What makes your training sessions different from sessions by hundreds of other Sales Training Firms? Mihir Koltharkar : The name 24 Karat Training was chosen to signify 'Highest Quality and Purity' in Training. I am extremely passionate about adding value, and hence I always go the extra mile while doing the Training Needs Identification and Analysis. Prior to undertaking any session, we invest time to connect with every participant, as well as the management and leadership team of the organization, to craft a result oriented training approach. Each training course has a blended learning approach - a mix of Assessments, Individual and Group Exercises, Brainstorming Sessions, Presentations, Videos, Case Studies, Roleplays and Assignments, thus making it immersive and engaging. With a rich 21 years experience of conducting 2000+ sessions across Sectors in 9 countries, I am able to deliver practical solutions for every attending participant .We have a proven track record where organizations have seen a drastic turnaround in Sales and Profits immediately after the sessions. Our client testimonials speak volumes, and thus we majorly get referral business. Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face? Mihir Koltharkar : When 2020 started, we had some great international projects in hand. We were to establish a physical presence in 3 new countries, however we had to restructure our approach since travel was restricted. We realized that scaling up globally is a challenge in the current situation. During the pandemic we shifted gears fast, and started conducting online sessions and focused on business growth. We also decided to search and finalize like- minded business partners who have similar ethics and passion, so that when things get back to normal soon, we can implement the expansion plan, and host our physical workshops internationally to enrich our brand image, credibility, and ofcourse business. Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for 24 Karat Training International? Mihir Koltharkar : We have our eyes set on increasing geographical reach in Africa and South East Asia currently, and then explore partnerships in the US and Canada. We will soon launch pre-recorded workshops on Sales and Negotiation for individuals. In the next 5 years, we foresee a team of certified trainers in each country of presence, to deliver our signature workshops in respective local languages. Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be? Mihir Koltharkar : Believe, Persist and Adapt. I started 24 Karat Training without any funding or back-up in 2017. For the initial 6 months, we didn't have any projects, and things were looking bleak. I invested my time to learn about marketing, create websites, focused on branding strategies, strengthening social media profiles, and fixed daily goals on what actions need to be taken. We focused on efforts, knowing that they will bear fruits. Things went wrong in the initial phase, however we learnt from mistakes and constantly adapted. There were some huge international training contracts which got pulled away at the last minute due to some external factors. And on top of it, I encountered some personal setbacks too during the time. Many tried to discourage me and advised me to give up, however I was stubborn to believe in my dream. Today I am ranked amongst 'Top 20 Global Trainers in Sales' along with Brian Tracy and Jordan Belfort. I have authored a book on Sales, been on TEDx twice, spoken at the World SME Summit, and I continue to work with premium organizations globally. I enjoy my freedom and have enough time to pursue my hobbies like Gliding, Rifle Shooting, traveling to different countries, spending time with friends and family, gaining knowledge, and living my life purpose of adding immense value to others. This has all happened because I believed, persisted and adapted. It is easy to dream, however it requires daily courage to see it through. • Nitin Shah, Founder at ICHARS

Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business? Nitin Shah: 12 years back when I began my journey into this field, I was struggling with my own challenges. It helped me understand and empathize with other who were going through their own struggles and challenges. I knew I wanted to help them but I also understood that I needed proper practical skills and experience do so effectively. I went through multiple training programs with multiple institutes. Still at the end of it all I felt I am not there yet. I did not really have a step-by-step process to work with clients. I knew that I knew a lot but did not know how to use my learnings from a practical point of view. While I was somehow still able to help the clients overcome their challenges, they would from time to time keep having relapses. With all the courses I had attended, I was aware of so many techniques but had no idea which technique to use with which client. I kept asking myself with every client, whether I use CBT with this client or Hypnosis or Metaphors and so on. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that the more courses I attended the more confused and lost I became. Then one day I was working with a client who as some people say would fall into the category of resistant client. I just wasn’t getting any breakthroughs with him till I used the CBT thought restructuring with the client in a Hypnotic State. And the change that the client experienced was transformational. The client started noticing major observable changes in his life from the next day onwards. It was this incident that made me understand the true power of integration. I started exploring more and more such integration with clients and the results I began to get were better, faster and more sustainable. I tried speaking to others, some of them provided interesting ideas about how the integration could work but there was still something missing. It was only when during a class I spoke about the integration and started answering questions related to that, that things began to become crystal clear. I was struggling with integrations because I had learnt these techniques individually in different course by different people who while being very good at what they did, were still operating out of the limitations of the framework or modality they were using. As I spoke to more and more practitioners about their challenges and why they are not able to integrate different techniques together, the more convinced I became of the need to train practitioners in a way that they learn about these integrations. That they train in a framework that is not influenced by the limitations of an individual modality but that integrates each of these modalities seamlessly. This conviction became the primary building block for conceptualization of Cognitive Hypnotic Psychotherapy. This was the first course that we offered under ICHARS. Great Companies: What are the various services provided by ICHARS? Nitin Shah: Currently ICHARS offers: 1. Skill building programs: a. Comprehensive Diploma on: i.
