I was earning a good income and was successful in my profession I was terribly busy in my work life that I could barely spare leisure time with my loved ones. One day, despite his consistent reminders, I missed my sonâs first stage performance at his school. Looking at his crying face really made me wonder about my whole situation & that was the trigger to explore something new in life. On that day I realized that there is a huge difference between Being Successful and Being Happy. I observed that many of my colleagues and friends were also in the same position. Despite them earning good income, they were âTime poorâ like me They were so busy in their professional activities that they could barely have time to manage their money. They needed someone Trustworthy who could manage their finances well. That made me think why not me? As a matter of interest, I was studying various aspects of Wealth Management. Chandini Ann Khanna: I work in two different realms: Content Specialization and as an Emotional Intelligence Certified Practitioner. On content, I work alone, and write for businesses â all types of content, across niches and industries. I began working from home in 2011 when my father fell seriously ill, ending a 19+year corporate career. I chose writing because I was always fond of communicating through the written word and began content writing with a single client. He further recommended me to two more clients, and that is how my content specialization took shape. I know for a fact that I have constantly improved the way I write, the words I use, and the way that I put the clientâs thoughts into words. Emotional Intelligence â I work with a partner, Angad Singh, on Emotional Intelligence. Our company is AnChEI Solutions. Chandini Ann Khanna: As a content specialist, my background is rooted in the English Language, hence it is not something I picked up, but it comes naturally to me. On Emotional Intelligence â The most important differences are: First, Emotional Intelligence is a WAY OF LIFE for us, and two is that our content is bespoke to suit the audience who would attend the sessions. Chandini Ann Khanna: As a Content Specialist, people want great content but do not wish to pay accordingly. What people sometimes fail to see, is that content is the backbone of any business and hence it must be done right and well. Writing takes a lot of effort, time, and huge dollops of passion! Emotional Intelligence: Given that it is a concept, sometimes it is hard to explain that it is the very basis of success. It is directly connected with better concentration, ability to grasp, higher grades, and better relationships â for students. For companies: it is directly responsible for increased output, better performance, a fatter bottom line, and lowered cost of customer acquisition. Aumiyage is our trademarked brand and we do intend to add a range of other products under the same umbrella. In terms of growth strategy, we want to strike that fine balance of revenue generation from both, ecommerce as well as your traditional brick and mortar. A very broad goal we've set for ourselves for the long term, say 5 or 6 odd years from now, is to have a 'Pan India' presence in the segment that we focus on i.e. personal & household hygiene. Although, I'm also a firm believer that in today's rapidly changing macro-environment, the dynamics of business will have to be perpetually revisited whether it be steering the company's outlook in terms of geographical expansion or portfolio diversification. Abhishek Mohta: I started saving at a young age of 17, I was saving 40% of my pocket money every month but even after savings for almost 5 years I wasnât able to achieve my financial goal of throwing a party for my parents on their 25th Anniversary. I invested the entire money in fixed deposit which could barely beat inflation. The amount required was almost double than what I was able to accumulate. School never taught me about inflation and how purchasing power of money gets reduced oveertime. I compromised, and gifted a microwave oven to my mom instead. I felt very bad and there was a feeling of not achieving something just because I didnât invest my money prudently. I studied more about money, concepts of finance and how can I grow my money, I also joined a course and became a Certified Financial Planner. The one thing that I would like to mention is that there has been a lot of traction in crypto space recently and lot of people have become traders. People who were afraid of investing money in equities through mutual funds have suddenly started putting their money into cryptos looking at past returns, following their friends or someone on twitter who says has made fortune in it. This may be a story because of the current bull phase but we have been facing challenges in managing such clients expectation especially the millennials. Abhishek Mohta: We are planning to invest more in technology, research and human resources as we grow. We require more people as our client base is growing, so we can give personalised services and have more client engagements.
