Siddhant Amonkar: As a child I was always intrigued by music instruments, amplifiers, movie theatres, sound mixers etc. Music was always a passion and also liked electronics so decided to be an electronic engineer and started my journey, after completing my engineering followed my passion and along with industrial automation engineering also perceived my Sound engineering. Started by designing amplifiers and repairs but as exposed to knowledge in few years wanted to do something so that people around me could listen to pure sound or at least listen to music as intended by the person recording it. That's how we started our firm catering to Hi-Fi sound and building Movie theatres. Also wanted people to understand that only speaker selection is not enough to get true sound we also started providing acoustic solutions. May it be Home theatre, auditorium, recording studio or a simple conference room we started mastering the room acoustic Treatments and here we stand today providing wide range of turnkey solutions. Siddhant Amonkar: Raising fund was a big task since for a demonstration room we had to invest so that people could experience the best sound when they visit our demo room. Apart from that there are not many challenges faced we are growing slow and steadily and that's a great sign for any business. Amit Bharadwaj: Back in 2012, we noticed a void in the market for technical acoustical products, back then people were still unaware of the subject and still using materials that did very little to help them in the proper acoustical treatment of spaces and voila "Ultracoustic" was incepted. We are the first and the only company to manufacture ready to install products in this category and now we are also available in the Middle East and South East Asia. First we started machine manufacturing stenter machine  but due to some health issued my father , our co held manufacturing machine and focused on spares market. Got succeeded in our field and after 20 years we restarted our manufacturing textile machine last 2 years. Amit Bharadwaj: To begin with there is no one else who do what we do, we provide complete end to end solutions, so from acoustical calculations and analysis, to onsite measurements to drawings, realistic 3d renders and finally installation is all done in-house. Our products are high in performance and in aesthetic value which currently no other manufacturer is able to match our replicate. Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face? Amit Bharadwaj: Firstly making people understand the importance of acoustics in spaces has been the biggest challenge, with all the wrong information provided by the so called acoustic consultants to clients has made this industry a snake oil business. The problem is thee client does not know better and the biggest challenge was creating the awareness, which wee have successfully overcome thanks to the clients who have experienced working with us and given us a recommendation. Scott Van Heurck: Its funny you are speaking to us right now as we first started with Wood Recruitment just 4 months before the Global Financial Crisis in mid to late 2008 - it wasn’t the best of timing at all. The current challenges with the virus are very similar to back in 2008 but of course a lot worse. One struggle is keeping focus on our key areas. We spend a lot of time, wasted really, on searches outside our focus. Cashflow is also an issue for small business as we expand our temporary team of candidates - there are a lot of costs to pay out first before we collect our payment. Otherwise as a small team access to the latest technology in recruitment is difficult or costly. Ashit Dinesh Visariya: The advantage with us lies in the fact that all the material directly sent across from the factory to the project site without it being routed thru the retailer who in turn buys from the distributor who turn stocks it in the warehouse which comes from the factory. At every stage there is an addition of the cost to you, we eliminate that extra cost. Also since we have a wide range of products the client can just talk with one company for all the products rather than having to deal with 10 different companies.
