- Sumathi Chandrasekaran, Founder at Mind Cafe
Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business? Sumathi Chandrasekaran: I have been practicing as a counseling psychologist for the past 18 years in Chennai. I see my clients only by appointment. I have observed many times, certain clients who suffer from severe anxiety and depression need help and want to get relieved from their emotional distress, but only to find themselves feeling more hopeless due to the unavailability of counseling services at the right time. I found that these people need to get professional help at the right and earliest time to prevent further severity of a mental disorder. This made me rethink how I could help to resolve these kinds of situations and also assist in providing assistance for those in distress immediately, so as to improve their quality of life. This made me come out of the idea of Mind CafĂ©, with people just walking in without any prior appointments and reaching out to a professional, in an unconventional setting over a cup of coffee. Great Companies: What are the various services provided by Mind Cafe Sumathi Chandrasekaran: The clients are not only made feel more resourceful to find their own solutions to their problems but also facilitate the development of a positive and healthy self-identity. Each of them is provided an art corner, in which they are allowed to connect to the creative part of the brain, by drawing mandalas, an artwork to release stressful emotions. They are provided with a body scan, a relaxation method that helps to ease their body and mind. Certain clients who have the severity of symptoms that are identified with any mental disorder will be referred to a nearby psychiatrist. In this way, we ensure that people are directed in the right direction to the right professional at the apt time without delay. Great Companies: What makes Mind Cafe different from hundreds of other similar service providers? Sumathi Chandrasekaran: Definitely, in India, there is no place that offers the kind of service that mind cafĂ© could offer, as this concept is a disruptive model. Mind cafĂ©'s purpose is to break the stigma of counseling and provide a safe place for people to step in for their emotional problems that are easily accessible and affordable. Moreover, the other counseling centers are conventional and one needs to fix an appointment prior to visiting their place. Mind cafĂ© have the facility of walking in, just when they feel burdened and thus alleviate their negative emotions. Mind cafĂ© also assists in providing the required referrals, as we have a red book that contains all professional and alternate therapist contacts and addresses. The clients are provided a cozy ambiance with free-of-cost coffee to make them feel more comfortable and less stigmatized. Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them? Sumathi Chandrasekaran: It was not an easy road for me. This concept was not only a disruptive model but a business model that addresses a social issue. In our society, itâs still a stigma to approach a professional to talk about their emotional issues. It has been a situation that involved multiple networking of people and consistent strenuous efforts. I knew that this involves a business consultant, as I had been more of a professional for many years. I had initially sought help from one of my mentors who guided me through the process of establishing a mind cafe. I, being a self-determined, and optimistic person, decided to take the plunge initially with the support of my team members of my NGO, Yuvathi. I started the first center, at Chepauk in Chennai in September 2018, with 5 members, including 3 psychologists, a relaxation therapist, and an admin. The response was good enough initially for the first six months. We later expanded by collaborating with either multi-specialty hospitals or other medical centers. I found that it was difficult to sustain our services in certain centers due to a lack of awareness about the facility available and the lack of awareness to seek professional help for their own emotional needs. The stigma attached to seeking or talking to a professional by itself was the biggest challenge. In spite of these challenges, we managed to establish Mind cafĂ© in two centers presently, one in Anna Nagar associated with Nithra Sleep institute and another in purasaiwalkam. Currently, collaboration talks are going on for establishing an exclusive Mind CafĂ© in Chennai with more refurbished services. This mind cafĂ© is a cafĂ©, with professionals available to relieve the client's emotional stress and provide an opportunity to reclaim their self-worthiness. The other most vital challenge was providing training to the team of psychologists specifically, in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, a very effective therapeutic model for addressing the emotional needs of the clients. In India, the number of psychologists available is very less compared to the ratio that is necessary for the number of people in emotional distress. So, identifying an efficient professional with maximum experience who could work with a passion for a noble purpose. I am prepared to face any number of challenges that could arise in my pathway toward this dream project for India. Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What do 5 years down the line look like for Mind Cafe? Sumathi Chandrasekaran: I am planning to expand in Chennai and Bangalore as early as possible. It could be a franchise-based model or by company-owned expansion. I strongly believe that, after 5 years, the need for Mind cafĂ© services will be felt throughout India in most of the states. So, each state will be having multiple Mind CafĂ© centers that could be spread over all cities of the state. Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice for someone just starting out, what would it be? Sumathi Chandrasekaran: Business is not about receiving profits alone, itâs about what I am willing to give and adding value to people in need
- Chaitanya Deep, Founder/CEO at EuclidXR Immersive Pvt Ltd
How did you get your idea or concept for the business? I previously worked as a web developer specializing in 3D visualizations. My first experience with VR was back in 2014 when Google released the Cardboard. Although it was interesting, the hardware was still lacking to make it practical in a widespread context. In 2020, with the release of the Oculus Quest headset and a majority of the smartphones supporting AR, the ecosystem was mature enough for XR technologies to be more universal. Product visualization is one of the areas where 3D and AR has a much better user experience compared to 2D. Being able to interact with the product, and look at it from all sides gives users the confidence about the product. It's similar to how on Nobroker, Olx, and Swiggy we trust listings with photographs more. I believe in a few years, 3D technologies will be as prevalent as photographs are today. What are the various services provided by EuclidXR Immersive pvt ltd Our core product is the 3D/AR platform - Celestar. We help D2C companies, and manufacturers add AR to their website, and offline paper catalogs. With our no-code integrations for Shopify, WooCommerce and other e-commerce platforms, our clients don't need an inhouse development team to use our AR viewer. Some of our clients requested for additional features on top of AR - Virtual showroom of their products that users can walk around in, virtual photographs and renders of the products. We're currently adding them as standard features of the platform. In addition to that, we develop customized VR applications in interior design, retail, and employee training. Since they are web-based, they can be accessed by just visiting a URL and are cross-platform, i.e they work on VR headsets as well as desktop and mobile. What makes EuclidXR Immersive pvt ltd different from hundreds of other similar service providers? Quality of visualization. Our AR offering has the most realistic texture detail, and product quality. Most competitor AR offerings clearly look like computer graphics. They lack the refinement of the original products and hence don't add much value over photographs. In contrast, we pay the utmost attention to detail in reproducing the products. This comes from our years of experience in designing items with a wide range of material properties and optimising for the web. We're also the only company in India with a 3D scanning setup pipeline to convert physical products to AR. This ensures the AR models look exactly like the handcrafted models they are scanned from. Irrespective of how complex the object is, we can scan it to showcase all it's beauty on the webpage. What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them? Communication was a major hurdle when we started. A large part of our clientele is in Japan. Apart from the language barrier, the culture differences and communication gap make it difficult for our prospective clients to trust us. As a founder with technical background, it was difficult for me to express myself effectively in business discussions. I've learnt to be more honest, listen more, and take the time to think through the conversations from the other person's perspective. As a small company, it's more important for us to be reliable, than professional. How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for EuclidXR Immersive pvt ltd? We want to be the most trustworthy company in the field. There have recently been a lot of scams in the Web 3.0, Crypto, and Metaverse space. It seems that everyone is calling their offering as a Metaverse and there's no clear picture of what a Metaverse truly represents, or what value it adds to their customers. That has caused a lack of trust in the ecosystem and a marketing fatigue. Technology will always be at the core of our business but building trust takes time and that's a true test of a lasting company. In 5 years, I hope we are recognised for the long-term value creation to our clients with the 3D technologies than as just a marketing stunt. If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be? Speak with your customers. Often, companies build features that the customers didn't want while ignoring the sought after features. For someone just starting out where time is very crucial, that could lead to months of wasted effort.
- Ayush Pandey,Founder at Skillvalley
How did you get your idea or concept for the business? As an entrepreneur, observation is the best skill to brush out. During the lockdown, I saw a lot of my friends from many colleges struggling for the right communities, mentors, and resources to learn from. They used to ask their professors and seniors which never drove them toward a solution due to the neverending chain of confusion about the "best" platform. As a 2nd year student, in 2020, I started connecting the students with mentors and college groups. And then I came to know that the students already have all the free resources on the internet, all they need is the right curated resources, a good community to work with, and a mentor to nurture them in the right way. So to bridge the gap between the campus world and the corporate world, we gave birth to Skillvalley. What are the various services provided by Skillvalley? Skillvalley originated to help the community of students. âą We run 8 weeks of cohort programs on the web, android, backend dev, and product dev. âą Students will be allocated industry problems and will have to solve that problem within 8 weeks along with the community. This not only helps the students to learn together but also participate in a healthy competition among the several students around them. To maintain enthusiasm in the cohort, we give several prizes to the winners and network them with a good community on various social platforms. What makes Skillvalley different from hundreds of other similar service providers? Being unique is a great urge among humans, and that is what we guide in our communities. We focus on the skills of the student and not the monetary thing, being said that not everyone can be a part of our cohort curriculums, students will have to pass certain selection criteria to be part of our cohort programs and then need to pay the money. Also, we donât ask students to sign a bond or pay any upfront fees for the placement program. Best mentors, right curated resources, and a good community, and see your growth 10x with us. What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them? Being a student entrepreneur the most challenging part was managing academics along with your startup and on top of that being student, hiring, and building a team. But as being said right mentors always give you the right direction and ultimately you will figure it out during your journey, I followed the same. "You cannot decide your destination without experimenting". Entrepreneurialism is the second name of risks and I am always ready to accomplish my tasks, overcoming all challenges. How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Skillvalley? Growing and learning is the neverending process of one's life. Skillvalley aims the same. Providing the best community platforms for tier-3 students to come together and build projects. This will help the students to gain real-life experience in building and get the chance of being part of reputed organizations. If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be? Say yes to every damn opportunity, you don't have an image or anything to loose right now. Grab that opportunity

- Rachel Mills, Founder at Buttercup Learning
Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business? Rachel Mills: Buttercup Learning was born from a desire to combine my passions for sustainability, ed tech, animation and nature. The idea for our first product came from my own daughters passion for the natural world. Buttercup was named by my daughter and inspired by a beautiful buttercup field near my home. Our company was founded in 2020 and at the height of the first lockdown we raised through crowdfunding to enable us to create a mini demo version of the Insects' Alphabet Book - a multisensory book that supports early years literacy with insect facts and conservation. Great Companies: What are the various services provided by Buttercup Learning Rachel Mills: Buttercup Learning provides innovative nature-based products that combine physical, online and augmented reality learning and play. Our products have been developed specifically for children aged 4-8 years old. Our current range includes Nature prints with augmented reality, in sizes A4, A3 and A2 in a choice of digital download or print versions. Great Companies: What makes Buttercup Learning different from hundreds of other similar service providers? Rachel Mills: Weâre committed to being a regenerative business, which means we are trying to go beyond sustainability and create something positive for the environment. As a founder, I've always been interested in environmental issues and believe that businesses have a responsibility to be good stewards of the earth they rely on. Buttercup Learning wants all its customers to know, what they are purchasing from us is natural and safe for their children. We consider each and every product's life cycle to reduce its environmental impact from design to end-use. Our prints are printed with water-based vegan ink and delivered in the UK with DPD C02 neutral delivery. We are the world's first sustainably hosted and designed elearning and educational product company. We've rebuilt our website to be one that is cleaner than 71% of the pages tested across the internet. We are embedding regenerative principles into the company's business model, and take great efforts to reduce the impact of all our physical and digital products. We give back to nature by donating ten percent of every print sale to a matched nature or education charity to support their conservation and humanitarian projects. We aim to give back more to nature through local biodiversity projects and support families with eco and conservation activities. Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them? Rachel Mills: One of the biggest challenges I faced in building my business was managing my time. I had to do everything myself initally: bookkeeping, project management, web design, and marketing on a shoestring budget. I overcame the juggle with time blocking, having set days to carry out each type of role and task. I've spent a lot of time on learning new skills in marketing and business operations. I've utilised support and asked for help from government schemes to bring in staff, I've had some fanatstic support from Business West, a certified B Corp and worked with schemes that support start ups with free business mentoring. Gradually, I've been able to hire others to fulfill the various job duties, allowing me to focus on what I do best: managing and producing educational content. I'm looking forward to the day when I can brief a marketing manager and they do all the Buttercup marketing work. Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Buttercup Learning? Rachel Mills: Buttercup Learning is a small business with a big vision. Our goal is to become the leading eco-friendly learning and nature education provider across the globe. We want to help children learn through nature exploration on their doorstep, empowering them with knowledge to take steps for local nature conservation. In 5 yearsâ time we plan to have expanded our operations into other countries; US, Canada, Australia and across Europe, as well as continuing our current growth of providing original outdoor learning for home educators, private tutors, teachers and families across the UK. As well as our core activities, we have plans to expand into other areas in the future. These include the production of educational resources, support for teachers and training courses on sustainable living. We are also committed to building a large database of learning materials that can be used by schools and nurseries and home educating parents who donât have access to nature experts or a local forest school. We are also committed to supporting local communities through our work by providing jobs for women in tech and training opportunities for graduates and young people. Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be? Rachel Mills: I would say to be persistent. If you have a great idea or solution and youâre passionate about it, then donât give up. You have to be willing to take some knocks along the way because there will always be people who donât believe in what youâre doing. There may even be moments when the progress doesn't seem like it's coming as quickly as you'd hoped for, but if you keep focused on your customer and what they need, eventually things will change for the positive!
- Abhishek Gupta, Founder at kaalecoatwale.com
Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business? Abhishek Gupta: Firstly I would like to thank "Great Companies" for providing me this opportunity. The thing we are doing is just not a business it's a mission to provide assistance for every single person who are not aware of their rights. This is the era digitalization, still many small town lawyers and young lawyers are not able to find a space to present them in front of the world. Majority of the citizens still do not have access to the necessary tools, information to know the law and fight for their rights. Numerous people do not know how the legal system works which makes them disrespect the system. Many people aren't able to get the justice because they do not have proper legal guidance. Sometimes people have lawyers but they can't afford them or they are not aware about that what kind of lawyer they actually needs. Here we are aiming to provide them the lawyer of their requirement. Great Companies: What makes kaalecoatwale.com different from hundreds of other similar service providers? Abhishek Gupta: We don't think there is any competition of us in the market presently because we are the only one who came up with this idea. But now a days there are many clones available on the internet and the quality we provide is the thing that make differentiate us from the others. Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them? Abhishek Gupta: As such there was no big challenge for everything is going smoothly, but for me it is very challenging to coordinate with a team , because too many cooks spoil the broth. To build a great team to ensure the quality of the things we are providing and learn to manage the fastest growing organization is also a big task in front of me as everyone has his own views. To stay positive , productive when things donât dislodge keeping the spirits high amidst failure and incomplete projects that just donât progress might be big challenge for me . As in starting I talked to many Senior/Experienced Lawyers to execute this idea some of them disregarded the idea but many of them appreciated my idea to connect the lawyers globally. Apart from this I faced a challenge after my school , somehow I got AIR 2643 in UPSEEE and less percentage in my class 12th, fortunately I was not able to crack JEE-Mains , but I was eligible for the Engineering College numerous colleges offered me the admission but I denied because I wanted to see the change in the society that's why I change my aim from becoming engineer to a lawyer. The challenging part in this to persuade my parents for the same I persuaded them successfully as I haven't qualified for the JEE-Mains. Always remember there is always criticism in the starting and appreciation later. In those dark times, one has to keep the faith and just keep doing the work , to trust the process is always a difficult and soul-crushing , but that is where success really takes place so one must keep going. Presently we are not facing any problem. Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for kaalecoatwale.com ? Abhishek Gupta: We are planning to launch our Android/IOS application soon. We are also working on numerous projects such as Online Dispute Resolution. In future we would like to expand our team. Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be? Abhishek Gupta :Trust the process , you are the game changer. You have born for some purpose. If you have decided to enter into the entrepreneurship be ready to face the challenges, there will we a new challenge on every new day on your way . Firstly set a roadmap and a strategy follow it accordingly. Always have a backup plan i.e. Plan B.
- Ishveen Jolly, CEO and Co-Founder at OpenSponsorship
Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business? Ishveen Jolly:Â I started my career as a management consultant and a sports agent. After seeing some serious inefficiencies within the sponsorship industry, I started OpenSponsorship about 6 years ago. Our whole mission is around democratizing access for sponsorship. Big companies like Nike and Pepsi with big budgets have been using sponsorship so effectively, but unfortunately, we havenât seen much of smaller regional, local, and D2C brands use sponsorship marketing or athletes in their marketing mix, so we felt like we needed to fix that. Thatâs why we created a platform thatâs accessible, efficient, and gets the job done for all. Whether itâs support and strategy, access to athletes, we make it really easy for them. Great Companies: What are the various services provided by OpenSponsorship Ishveen Jolly:Â OpenSponsorship is revolutionizing the world of sponsorship through its platform and technology. - Advanced matching: Brands can use the OS platform to filter through 12,000+ athletes based on their interests, engagement, and follower demographics. (e.g. female golfers in London who love pets, has Instagram engagement of >17%, for <$1,000 for a photoshoot) - Deal matching: Once a brand posts a campaign, OpenSponsorship will suggest potential athlete matches or brands can also invite athletes to a campaign and send a proposal. OpenSponsorship manages all the complicated paperwork from the rights contracts to athlete payments. - Deal management: OpenSponsorship makes it simple for both athletes and brands to manage past and active deals. They can keep track of their campaigns, deliverables, earnings, etc. through OpenSponsorship's web and mobile applications. - ROI tracking: OpenSponsorship is integrated into Google Analytics, Shopify, and many other platforms so brands and athletes can easily track their ROI and other analytics. Great Companies: What makes OpenSponsorship different from hundreds of other similar service providers? Ishveen Jolly:Â We have been successful in accommodating underserved athlete groups such as paralympians and female athletes. We are actively pitching niche athlete groups to brands, educating potential sponsors on why they should consider a diverse portfolio of athlete ambassadors. We partnered Sperryâs with its first Paralympic athlete for a successful campaign. Combining the power of a two-sided marketplace with the expertise of a sports agency, OpenSponsorship has revolutionized the sponsorship industry. We are driving change using innovative technology, AI, data and unique functionality - enabling access to all athletes and brands. Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for OpenSponsorship? Ishveen Jolly: - With OpenSponsorshipâs most recent growth round, we are putting an immediate emphasis on growing our internal team, as well as our recently launched UK market. We are also aggressively expanding into the college space given the recent rulings of over 460,000 college athletes being allowed to monetize off their name, likeness and image - allowing smaller brands with lower budgets to enter the sports sponsorship space. On the supply side, weâve added partnership opportunities for teams and events, in addition to athletes. - In the long-term, we have big plans to diversify outside sports into music and other verticals. We are also focused on increased expansion internationally, while aiming to provide new services and functionalities on our platform. We are also committed to putting a stronger emphasis on our CSR efforts - weâve worked with the Florida government and NHS (UK) to help promote vaccinations and âStay Safeâ programs for COVID-19. Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be? Ishveen Jolly:Â The entrepreneurship journey can be long, hard, and lonely, so definitely be ready for that. Having a strong support system throughout the journey would be most crucial for aspiring business leaders to be successful - both professionally and personally.
- Nitin Shashindran, Founder at QUAFF
Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business? Nitin Shashindran: Cinema, Movie or Motion Picture has always been my passion, and while starting off in this industry I was clueless, but one thing I was most certain about is whatever I will be doing, it will be within the business, which kept me going. This is one of those few industries which is really hard to crack in, for obvious reasons. So after gaining relavant experience, I wanted to create an eco-system which can empower other filmmakers too during my growth. So that passion and vision resulted in the formation of QUAFF. It's been 8 years since, and QUAFF is no more just about my dream or growth, but its a collective aspiration and ambition of all amazingly talented storytellers who are associated with us. Great Companies: What are the various services provided by QUAFF Nitin Shashindran: We are content production & distribution company, very actively working with most of the top streaming services/OTT platforms, broadcast newtworks, and theatrical, in India and overseas. We provide one stop solution to producers, directors and writers by helping them in the process of creating, pitching and standardizing the process of content creation. Great Companies: What makes QUAFF different from hundreds of other similar service providers? Nitin Shashindran: Most of our contemprory aggregators or production compaines take in any projects that comes their way and at times offers zero result to the makers, which results in to the lose of contents' shelf-life and money. For us, the core competence will always be the quality of storytelling, so that's where we do not compromise. We only take projects that passes our meticulous curation process, which is very helpful to maintain the transparency. Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them? Nitin Shashindran: Challenges are constant, with every milestone comes a new challenge. To list down few, 4 years back when we were trying to create an alliance with premium streaming brands who are top at their game such as Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar, SONY LIV, Hungama Play and more, it was really hard to wrap our head around their distinctive process, but these brands were kind enough to hear our prospects, guided and educted us through the whole process, which was really empowering. Another struggles we faced in the initials days were to have filmmakers believe in QUAFF. Unfortunately, in the business where you can find a lot of conmen and plagiarism around the corner, it was hard for us to win the makers' faith, so we implemented a model that will keep the makers updated with each stages of progress, maintaining 100% transparency, which worked for us. Yet challenges are something now we look forward to because it plays a major part in the growth, and we are always focused on upgrading to provide the best experience. Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line QUAFF? Nitin Shashindran: We have 2 web-shows under-developed with a premium SVOD streaming platforms. 2 movies in regional languages that are going under production in 2023. We are also developing an unscripted show for a streaming platform, and curating more content. Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be? Nitin Shashindran: Be opinionated towards your vision and goal, but always keep room for creative ways to achieve them. Don't be discouraged by the people who do not match your vision, and you may find too many of them. In the end they'll be happy for you anyway.

- The new age Generative AI startup : MetaBrix Founders Interview
Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business? Prabhat : Being a photography enthusiast, Iâve always been interested in the way visual content is perceived across various devices. We went from text to images and now to videos (short form recently) to make it more engaging. Upon seeing the attempts made to improve the visual content in the last 3 years, it was clear that future visual content is going to be immersive. We identified the problems involved with creating immersive 3D content and started looking around for research or attempts made to solve this. We could not find any convincing solution, so we decided to build one. Pratik : Iâve been into autonomous vehicle research for more than 4 years and actively involved in Generative AI , which deals with creating a simulated environment for the vehicle. Also, when Facebook relaunched itself to Meta, their virtual environment was created through a traditional way. After seeing the potential of upcoming metaverse, gaming and digital fashion, we thought this is the right time to solve this bigger problem and democratise the entire 3D content like the way TikTok democratised 2D. And thatâs when we started MetaBrix with a vision to simplify and create user generated 3D content. Great Companies: What are the various services provided by MetaBrix ? Prabhat : MetaBrix is an AI based creation tool which simplifies 3D content creation. The various product features aim to aid 3D artists to reduce the time, cost and effort required to build such models. Typical 3D assets include objects (car, table, bag, gun), environments (hall, driveway, factories) and avatars (players & NPCs). The services are divided into 4 categories based on the problem they solve : VISION : Create high-quality virtual walkthrough renderings directly from a mobile scan without the need of creating 3D models. MAVERICK : Create an immersive and interactive digital twin of an environment with a set of images/video. ULTRON : Create realistic 3D models of everyday objects through a quick scan. JARVIS : Create virtual worlds from imagination through text or speech prompts. Great Companies: What makes MetaBrix different from hundreds of other similar service providers? Pratik : MetaBrix is one of a kind platform for virtual experience creation. Hereâre the key differentiators : Fast and Scalable : The typical service providers in this space are dependent on 3D artists and developers who can typically take days to weeks to create assets and hence itâs not at all scalable. Our platform can generate assets in minutes reducing the time and effort by more than 80%. No-code capability : Creating renders requires using computer graphics pipeline and a bit of scripting. This makes it hard for everyone to learn and use it for their own purpose. Think of it as presets which simplified the entire image editing. Customisable : The assets produced from our platform are easily editable to suit the use case requirements. The entire remodelling, retexturing can be done with any choice of modelling software. Assets follow BRDF standards. Interoperable : The platform has the capability to create assets in both forms of rendering styles i.e., Polygonal (ex. Decenterland, Spatial) and Voxel (ex. SandBox, Roblox). The output can be exported to any kind of Metaverse for further usage. Simplified workflow : The platform has a simple to use workflow, which involves importing an image set, letting the engine process, customise the output and export it to further use. Unlike other tools, it doesnât need LiDAR sensors, sophisticated and expensive cameras, and huge dataset to create the outputs. Generative AI Capability : Assets created are AI generated whereas most of the platform has traditional workflow which is costly and undergone manual process. Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them? Prabhat : Market Awareness : Getting into the market earlier might give a first mover advantage, but it also comes with a responsibility of creating awareness in the market. These AI capabilities are so new that it is still unknown to most artists and developers. Hardware Challenges : High quality renders typically run-on high-end GPU machines. To run it on mobile and laptops, it requires high compute capabilities. But weâre seeing a good trend in recent devices with respect to chips and batteries. Software Challenges : Rendering 3D models on Mobile and Web needs model viewer plugins (WebGL & WebXR) which is still not mainstream due to high rendering time which slows down the entire webpage. Talent Hunt : Working at MetaBrix requires a good experience and interest in the areas of Machine Learning, Computer Vision, 3D Modelling, Rendering Engines. As these subjects and trends are quite new, finding such talent is a little hard at times. Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for MetaBrix? Pratik & Prabhat : Our plan is to enhance our existing set of services in terms of time and quality and add few more features to our platform in future. Following the technology adoption curve, we first aim to get the product validated through innovators and early adopters and then move to early and late majorities. We aim to utilise the already popular platforms like Unity, Nvidia Omniverse and other modelling tools to reach a wider audience. After 5 years, we want to be the one stop solution for creating any kind of virtual experiences catering to different industries like Metaverse, commerce, hospitality, gaming etc. to help the future digital artists create and monetise their creations. Brands can use our platform to enhance their product experience for better customer engagement, marketing, and storytelling. Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be? Pratik & Prabhat : Entrepreneurship in our opinion is a cyclic process of failing and finding a way until you get it right. With the right team, you can do this process faster and reach a product market fit sooner. Most of the time, ideas arenât perfect, but your execution and perseverance make all the difference. As founders, weâve to envision the solved problem by living in the future and then work backwards to build whatâs missing in the process. - Sunil Bhagtani, Founder and Director at WeSage BPM
Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business? Sunil Bhagtani: Having worked for 11+ years in BPOs (2002-2013), I had gained experience of working with various businesses from small & mid-size to Fortune 500 from varied industries and different geographies. By the year 2010, I noticed, outsourcing wasnât just restricted to Fortune 500 and big corporations. It was becoming a common practice by even small-mid sized businesses, and not only for Sales or Customer Support, but everything we could do over the internet and telephone. This gave me confidence to start a BPO to help businesses scale without increasing overheads, enabling reduced costs and focus on more critical functions of their business. Great Companies: What are the various services provided by WeSage BPM Sunil Bhagtani: Our impressive list of services includes, but is not limited to Accounting/Bookkeeping, Transaction processing, Customer Support, Virtual Admin/Back-office Assistance, and Data Labeling. Great Companies: What makes WeSage BPM different from hundreds of other similar service providers? Sunil Bhagtani: With 35+ years of BPO Management in the team, we have a proven track record of adapting to customersâ business, and helping them scale as well as make their business processes more efficient. We have an impressive client retention of 95%. No customer has left WeSage BPM due to low performance or integrity breaches. Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them? Sunil Bhagtani: We had 2 big challenges: In India, a BPO means a company employing 100s & 1000s of people, offering handsome salary with a list of perks. So for us, with no outside investment, we were competing with such BPOs locally to acquire and retain talent. With all the experience I had and vision to build and operate a People First company, we implemented the best practices for talent acquisition and retention by any top-notch BPO in India and people-centric processes/policies. With no Sales team or office in our target market, I applied all the experience to acquire business through references, consultants as well as online platforms. Glad to share that we acquired clients, and gradually grew the list of clients. Above all, most of the clients have been with us for years now. Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for WeSage BPM? Sunil Bhagtani: We are opening a Sales office in the United States, and plan to grow the team size 5x in couple of years and 10x 5 years down the line. Also, we plan to stay bootstrapped in the next growth stage of our business. Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be? Sunil Bhagtani: Focus on building an organization through the right environment and you will get the right people on the team. People are not born with experience, so give opportunity to everyone who is willing to learn and grow. Website : www.wesagebpm.com Social Media : Twitter | LinkedIn
- Sanjay D Patolia, Founder & CEO at Vibranium Alltech Pvt Ltd
Kindly brief us about the company, its specialization, and its services. Vibranium is a revolutionary antivirus company in the field of cybersecurity that has been ranked No.1 Globally in performance test by Pass Mark Certification. Mr Sanjay Patolia Managing Director of Vibranium is on a mission of ransom free India he has developed expertise and has done a lot of research before launching vibranium on September 17 2021. In its first year its self, Vibranium has more than 1 lakh active users, 11000+ Active channel partners, and more than 100 distributors in 14+ states across India. One of the biggest threats to the digital world is the consistent ransomware attacks that target individuals, businesses, and governments. In 2021 alone, these attacks caused losses of more than $20 billion globally, disrupting several economies. Here it is important to understand the magnitude of the damage if we take into account the incidents that are not reported. Vibranium ensures a robust and distinctly intelligent cybersecurity system that defends the client from any form of data abuse and ransomware attacks. Amongst all 1 Lakh+ users of Vibranium, not a single ransomware attack has been reported yet. We have developed one of the worldâs most effective, automized proactive cyber security systems. We offer simple to install and operate, optimised and powerful overall data protection against cyber threats and cyber-attacks. Vibranium is committed to make all our digital lives simpler and safer. Give a brief overview of your background and role in the company. A field engineer, Computer service provider, networking infrastructure provider in retail and channel sales, the regional distributors of innumerable products, companies and Brands for Gujarat, I have been fortunate to have ground up journey of more than 20 years in the field of ICT. Throughout my two decades of professional career antivirus software is something that always fascinated me. While spearheading a largely spread distribution business, I experienced the gap between the real requirement of Indian users, transparent channel policy for channel partners, and the available options in the field of Cyber security. To bridge this gap, I decided to leave a thriving business to create Vibranium. Today Vibranium has highly skilled team to provide the best antivirus system and services in the market What past experiences, achievements, or lessons shaped your journey as a successful CEO? Success is a journey not a destination I have enjoyed the journey till date. The journey itself and the people whom I met during the journey have contributed a lot through sharing and experiences. Through two decades I could see that the end users suffer helplessly through ransomware and other cyber-attacks they had no options but to compromise. This victim like environment forced me to think about the possible way out. As an entrepreneur I did not want my countryman to wait for some other country to provide the solution. Make in India inspires me and I took it on. I saw that once the data is stolen extortion money was demanded, no guarantee of getting the data back even after the paying money, the threat itself and uncertainty associated with it shook me from the core. That made me resolve to make INDIA a ransomware free country. So Vibranium designed AI run Completely automated antivirus solution, it is used by more than 1,25,000 active users across India and not a single ransomware attack or incidents reported as of now. Its not enough to see tomorrow with todayâs perspective, we must see today with tomorrowâs understanding â this is the lesson that I have learned and I practice this every day. Kindly mention some of the initial challenges you faced during the first phase of your journey. In the early phase of Vibranium the research and development aspects were smooth. One of the major challenges was to manage adequate time for vibranium. The team that was there had different skill sets, they were trained differently, they had experience in different domain and the task assigned was from a completely new domain. The decision maker, I, had to transform the way I look at the problem and the solutions. Aligning my decisions, working with team and utilising the resources was the biggest challenge. I had been working with a large network for a very long time but the methodology and the systems were entirely different and vibranium required a completely new mindset to design business policies to make the network win. These challenges gave us an opportunity to create something that the world of cyber security had never seen before. Describe some of the vital attributes that every leader should possess. I can share the attributes that have worked for me. I have generated courage to execute what I could see forwarding vibranium another thing is that I have learned to work with people who are more skilful than I am. Throw-out the journey I never allowed my focus to get deviated and last but not the list relentlessly follow your passion. The option of being tired doesnât exist. How do you innovate your products/solutions that appeal to your target audience? For us at Vibranium we have two sets of target audience one the end users and second our channel partners and distributors. While creating our products and providing solutions we always look at the existing gaps in the cyber security market. We could see that the end users was not fully proactive and they had to suffer data losses by cyber-attacks. We created an antivirus that is proactive and prevents attacks. Now the end users are getting what they are paying for vibranium. Channel partners had a lot of complains regarding unfair and insensitive business practices. At vibranium we have designed uniform and fair business practices throughout our business network. To appeal our target audience we have removed complexity and created simplicity in the product, Services and policy. In the future the approach is going to be the same. How are disruptive technologies like Artificial Intelligence/IoT/ Automation/Cloud Computing/Big Data/Robotics (You may mention any technology based on your focus area) impacting todayâs innovation and how has the role of a leader has changed over the years? In the field of Cyber Security and Data protection domain, any device which is connected to the internet it can be attacked or hacked. Millions of new malware and threats emerging in the cyber world every day. The people who are working in the dark side of the digital world are unethical, they find new ways to damage every day, the practices they adopt are weird and unthinkable and so the traditional routine protection technology will not be able to match either the velocity or the efficiency of this dark horses and to combat this emerging threat we have to adopt one step ahead technology to provide data protection to end point. Vibranium invented first time in the cyber security world the Revolutionary Technology based on artificial intelligence and data science algorithm is âBlue Domeâ, By this invention of Blue Dome Vibranium is able to identify, detect and block past, present and future threats on Realtime proactive detection technology. The ability of Blue Dome is unmatched and unbeatable behaviour observation technology of every byte of internet traffic through deep dive and deep look to identify and block malicious code and malicious file which can be compromise, modify or stole your data from Cyber-attacks. In the digital era vibranium is the light that shows the path forward. When I look at my focus area the role of a leader has changed drastically over the years in todayâs world it is not sufficient to have bold and ambitious ideas. The leader should also have the practical capabilities needed to realise those ideas. I have also observed than the new age leaders will have to use the traditional approaches to help direct the company success and will also have to create a culture that is forward focused. How do you see the company and the industry in the future ahead? In the next 15 years, as our societies become more digital, data protection will emerge as the most critical challenge. As Robert Mueller (FBI Director 2012) says there are only two type of Companies, those that have been hacked and those that will be. When we foresee that future, I want to dedicate my future work in creating a sustainable and ethical ecosystem that creates extra ordinary skilful teams to encounter challenges. Vibranium has taken the wake-up India pledged and is out to train 30,000 Channel partners across India, this trained Indian âArmyâ of 30 thousand Channel Partners are serving the end users as their super heroes and provide complete data protection from cyber attacks by using latest and enhanced tools and tactics of Vibranium. Till now, the size of that âArmyâ is more than 7000. What is your advice for budding or emerging CEOs/business leaders/executives? For budding or emerging CEOs I have a few request. never get stopped by shortage of resources hold on the dream does come true be grounded Surround yourself by people who belive in you It is vital for emerging leaders to develop the ability to understand the shortcomings of the market, know genuinely what the end user requires, and strive incessantly to create a solution for the same. And in this journey, ethics and values play a significant role. I believe in walking along with my team, growing together with my partners, always thinking of the ecosystem of different stakeholders, and never looking for short-term profits. Any other insights Each Indian who is not threatened, who does not have to pay ransom money in the exchange of data, whose data is protected by vibranium is step towards ransomware free India. This is what inspires us as Vibranium and we will march on till whole India is ransomware free.
