Having to work doubly hard to make my presence felt in a profession dominated by males and having to get over the perceptions of "Oh she looks too young to have the skillsets to negotiate and close deals in favour of her client", made the journey difficult yet extremely rewarding. It was extremely satisfying to see the appreciation in the eyes of peers, juniors, seniors and clients every time I successfully closed a deal. Personally, having to balance being a wife to a husband who has rapidly climbed up in his career and made waves, mother to a boisterous daughter and having to leave her at home while I travel to work has tugged my heart every single time I step out of the house, daughter to extremely ambitious and career oriented parents, a good daughter in law who can make nice round rotis and chai, was a huge challenge. Health issues cropped up because of work stress and work load, having to put my love for dance on the back burner for my work ambition and yet come out successful on all fronts with an occasional singing and dancing performance at the same is nothing but a feat I have managed to achieve ! What message you want give for other aspiring women entrepreneurs Dream..dream hard..dream high..inspire yourself because no one else will inspire you.
