Samiksha Goel: Ours is a chartered accountancy firm, which was looking at diverting from traditional Chartered Accountancy practices. With the Onset of GST, and other changes in the taxation system, business were in dire need to organize themselves, and there was a window of opportunities. We are one of the First and still very few firms which helps the businesses in moving from an unorganized way of working to organized way of working. Samiksha Goel: 3 of the partners, out of the 4 partners associated with the firm have also completed a certification in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection, 2 of the partners have completed their diploma in Information Systems Audit, and 1 of the partner has a 5 year work experience with one of the big 4 firms i.e. KPMG. The partners have first worked on polishing their skills and setting up a perfect team to tackle this task. Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face? CA. Samiksha Goel: The businessmen in Surat and Vapi, are very reluctant to accept change, making them understand the importance of this process and getting them to accept the change and adapt is the main struggle faced by us. Apart from that, every new client has a new and unique problem, and addressing those problems is a challenge that we love to tackle. Samiksha Goel: What we have observed and believe in is, the businesses which are willing to accept the change and also adapt with the changing times and consumer demands will survive no matter what, also coupled with proper internal control setup for optimum functioning of the company, and financial discipline is the cherry on the top.

Lucy Gillett: I am also a Registered A & E nurse and after a night in Resus 8 weeks nursing very sick COVID patients with limited PPE and no eye protection, I contacted all my schools and business' that I have given first aid training to through my training company and started campaigned for PPE and resourcing and distributing it all, of course with no charge. I supplied 16 hospitals, countless care homes and social care organisations. I also provided free covid related online zoom first aid and infection control training to any school for its pupils and staff and also parents of newborns that felt fearful. Great Companies: What are the various services and products provided by your company? Lucy Gillett: Usually First Aid Training to Parents & Professionals, but through the pandemic. I spent every day I wasn't nursing (3 days a week) collecting and distributing PPE in terms of goggles, visors and masks at no cost. Educating families, schools and business on first aid and infection control training, on how to not spread the virus and how to save lives by giving CPR safely during this pandemic. Lucy Gillett: I have had one day off in 8 weeks, which was for my three year old's birthday - I have to spend every day and evening raising awareness and A&E nursing to fight covid and prevent deaths and increase safety for the community. Fortunately, one day amongst the followers, one person came up and requested for a scrapbook. There came my first order, where I was not at all prepared for it, was very nervous but with the help of the co-founder of ArtisansLove 'Palak Jain' and all the creativity, love and hard work we could put in, we finished the scrapbook and successfully delivered it. The real motivation started then. Orders keep on pouring in since then, and here we are successfully delivering more than 500 products annually. Aarushi Jain: Major challenge we face is the taste of the client. It is very difficult to understand what is there in your client’s mind and that too even over a call or text. Sometimes it takes us 2-3 rounds to get to the final product. Next challenge we usually face is budget, when the client is expecting a lot in a very small budget. But gradually we have learnt how to overcome the budget issue and provide the client with what he/she expects. During this journey we met all kinds of people, clients, vendors, competitors, criticizers and the most important part is we have to work with all of them as team for and every order. There have been times, where it was difficult to build the bridge between the want and the need, but we as a strong and confident team never failed to accomplish a project or to get it delivered on time. Our each and every step from procuring to manufacturing to delivering has been and experience with a new challenge on each step, but we as a team have always learnt from our experiences and grew better and better. Great Companies: What do you think are the few main things which are most important for a successful business? Aarushi Jain: One major learning I got during this journey, is that you have to be simply selfless. In our field, all we do is for our client, for their happiness, and what I have to myself is the satisfaction at the end of each day, that we delivered another happiness. There is absolutely no term in this field such as profit or loss. It’s about the productivity, the content and its uniqueness. I would just sum up by saying that if you are passionate about something, give it a try. You might fail you might rise, but at the end you won’t be regretting for not trying. Everything comes with experience, and experience comes with experiments and experiments comes with first trial.

Plus on that, I had some debts the period the Greece entered in a big financial crisis. I was alone in the jungle. I had to decide! To live or not to live? That was my turning point. I immersed myself in personal development. I went through a long and challenging journey but I did it. Now, I am here to tell to you that if you want it you can get it!
