This made them create a training platform for professionals to get their certification in Applied Behaviour Analysis. Today they are the one and only authorised course work provider under the QABA. Unique Selling Proposition / Competitive Advantage: Unlike a standard curriculum delivery, they at Kaizen carefully curate content for each corporate or individual and deliver using engaging techniques. Before a curriculum is designed, they not only listen to the needs of the organisation but also study the needs of the employees. Thus, it is a two-way benefit. Every organisation is unique and has had great intentions while it was born. Kaizen decided to stick to its meaning – Continuous Improvement (Kai-Zen). With this goal in mind, we have ensured to grow each minute, day and year, together. 1. They have had many students from weak financial backgrounds whom Kaizen supported with great discounts and support in studies also giving them internships with us while they learnt. 2. They have had many students pursuing other courses along with Kaizen courses whom we supported by providing them access to our classrooms the entire day so that they could stay back to study for their other courses. 3. They guided a few UPSC exams students, students reappearing for boards by motivating them to study positively and guiding them through during their queries, though this was not a part of Kaizen’s course. 4. They also counsel and continue counselling students who have lost their hopes and have had self-destructive thoughts. Some such students have been placed well in the industry with proper guidance and counselling and have been doing very well since then. Proud to state that they raised hopes and positive mindsets. 5. Kaizen has worked closely with blue-collar employees in the industries and has been able to deliver complex ideas in a very simple manner. Their students do say that if there was one company that should have been for motivating lives and careers, it sure would be Kaizen Institute of Training Excellence. 7. Kaizen might have missed making money, but never missed collecting blessings! It’s a living entity of heart, body and caring souls. Challenges Faced During The Journey: Challenges have been only another stepping stone, says Mrs Malti Lakhani. But yes, before she overcame them, they have been the struggling milestones for her. She had borne the brunt of the exit of various Airlines which in turn gave us less confident footfalls. Demonetization came as another hitch. On top of all, there was the Pandemic! Yet, The company did not notice much fall in terms of percentage of work they have been doing. There is a fall in the number of projects currently than what we handled earlier. There has been a stagnancy on and off but the word of mouth and repeat clients have saved them in time! It helps to build a “Delighted Client” base for automatic traction in the business. 40 per cent of clients are through Word of Mouth. But, building that rapport is the biggest challenge organisations should serve well. While designing and delivering Self Development content for the Self Help Groups of Maharashtra (under Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission, Maharashtra Government) the biggest challenge was to explain the technical and management terms to the Rural folks. Kaizen took up the challenge to design a very simple and user-friendly curriculum to raise the bar of motivation and excitement in learning. It's not about fitting them into their training. It’s all about fitting our training in them! Advice For Women Entrepreneurs: Mrs Malti Lakhani says that if it's not a struggle, it cannot be entrepreneurship. So, to be an entrepreneur one needs to trust. When you begin, all you need is to TRUST in yourself. Trust leads to a persevering approach. That means never giving up. Keep innovating ways to reach your dream if one way fails. There aren’t 100 failed ideas. They are all new ways that did not work in a particular case. They could be used by someone else. So, you document failures to not repeat them for the world will document your success.

Challenges Faced During The Journey: They come across many stories about how passion and persistence have played a significant role in the lives of successful people. Yet, few are as inspiring as Meenu Rathore, who had to compromise with family rules but is now running a highly successful Business Management Consultancy firm in Surat, the business hub in Gujarat. Meenu, who hails from an Army family, is the Founder and Director of OneWill Consulting. This firm has helped more than 200+ Companies through its expertise in system and process consulting, strategic implementations for business growth, HR transformation, and training and development. OneWill Consulting is a multi-crore company having a solid national and international client base. Still, the story could have been very different for Meenu, as she recalls. “I was born in an Army family, and I aspired to study hard and become a Company Secretary (CS). However, my parents had other plans and were already preparing for my marriage as soon as I reached the ‘right’ age. In fact, they had already finalized a suitor for me,” Meenu says. She had a big argument with her family about the marriage and even threw away all her books in rage with disappointment. On her father’s advice, she connected with the potential suitor and shared with him her strong aspiration to pursue CS. The suitor readily agreed, and soon the two got married. Soon after the marriage, Meenu landed in Surat and started pursuing her CS finals, followed by a CS articleship and simultaneously enrolled for MBA. To ensure her financial independence, she also started working as an HR manager in a textile firm. Things were good with Meenu, and her life was going along as planned. It took a dramatic turn when she assisted a road accident victim. The person invited Meenu to his office, which proved to be a turning point in her life and the lives of many others. The accident victim was Deepprakash Agarwal, Director of Radhey Weaves, who was highly impressed with Meenu and offered her the opportunity to work as HR in his organization. Meenu, however, turned the offer citing time constraints due to her studies and other work commitments. Mr Agarwal was, however, persistent and asked Meenu to provide HR Business Consulting services to his firm for an hour or two a week, an offer she could not refuse. The association opened a world of opportunities for Meenu as other firms soon approached her for similar services. To overcome the paucity of time on weekdays, she started working on new assignments on Sundays. “This was like a Eureka moment for me. I realized then there was a big market for Business Consulting services in Surat. I saw an opportunity and decided to grab it with both my hands. With Mr. Agarwal’s guidance, I founded my own company, and this is how OneWill Consulting was born,” says Meenu. Today, OneWill Consulting is a multi-crore firm, working with big names Like Torrent Power Limited, Meera Industries Limited, Dharmaj Crop Guard Limited, Radhey Group, JBGO Group, Jindal Group, Navin Group, Vijay Dairy, Sandesh Distributors, Revo International, and several others across various sectors, offering them its multi-disciplinary services. Even as she was scaling new heights, she decided to pursue a PhD in management. Her determination can be gauged because she appeared for the PhD exam while being eight months pregnant. What’s more, she aced the exam. “I got pregnant when my company was doing very well. I was determined I would not take a break from my professional life. I continued working literally till the last hour of pregnancy and was back at work just a week after my daughter was born. Leaving a one-week infant at home was heart-breaking, but I did it as I firmly believe work is worship,” she says. Just at the age of 27, Meenu is a leading Female Business Management Consultant of Surat and a well-known startup mentor, a regional trainer for BNI, support director at BNI, Business Director at JCI, CEO of RMG Maheshwari School, Guest Lecturer at Luthra Institute of Management, Surat, and Visiting Lecturer at Vidyadeep Institute of Management, Kim. Unsurprisingly, Meenu is a role model and inspiration for many women as a highly qualified professional and a successful entrepreneur. Advice For Women Entrepreneurs: “I have always believed in hard work, and I am convinced it always pays us in one or the other form. All we need to do is keep following our passion whatever be the situation because challenges are miracles waiting to happen,” says Mrs Meenu Rathore.
