- Vikas Rawat, Founder & CMD at Global Garner Sales Services Limited
Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business? VIKAS RAWAT: Since I am from a sales and insurance background, I derived this whole idea from that sector only. Consequently, when I explored the market, I analyzed that all businesses require sales irrespective of whether it is Small or Large but none of the Companies Provide post-paid sales services across the world. Currently, All the companies ask for an Onboarding fee, Lead Fee, Marketing Fee etc that too without any guarantee of a sale. On the One hand, Vendors wanted sales, on the other, there are so many sales skilled people who have sales skills but were not able to diversify as there is no option and were compelled to restrict their skill to one brand/product/service. That too with investment risks and geographical boundaries. Therefore, we designed the whole ecosystem of GG through which we route the whole economy and provide postpaid sales services through our digital platform and the Global Human Network of Sales simultaneously all sales individuals get an entire vendor catalogue to cross-sell to their customers and earn without any investment into inventory etc. and GG also gives a bouquet of unique smart cashback options for customers, So we empower all segments of society with the entire ecosystem of Global Garner Great Companies: What are the various Services provided by GLOBAL GARNER SALES SERVICES LIMITED VIKAS RAWAT: We offer post-paid sales services to all categories of businesses, vendors, etc with Zero Upfront Cost where these businesses have to pay commission only on successful sales, with the added advantage of a Cashback for all their customers. We also offer an Advanced Digital platform called UPOS-The Digital Mall in which we have integrated the entire sales ecosystem of the country through which these businesses can also sell their products and services. To connect all categories of vendors like e-commerce sites, national brands, retailers, wholesalers, local vendors, etc, with the customers we have designed this software where products of these businesses and vendors will be sold by Digital Mall owners to their customers to earn Incentives, which makes UPOS the biggest interexchange of businesses in the world with zero investment in inventory. Thus, we have created a digital distribution network integrated with human intellect to promote the products of these businesses and vendors. Hence, we offer a digital Franchise of all these businesses/brands to these digital mall owners without actually investing in inventory. Additionally, we offer 4 types of cashback/ rewards to all customers/users who purchase through our platform. Our whole business model is copyrighted. Great Companies: What makes GLOBAL GARNER SALES SERVICES LIMITED from hundreds of other similar service providers? VIKAS RAWAT: Firstly, there is no such similar service provider and our whole business model is copyrighted. We are the world’s first post-paid sales service provider and we work digitally through a human-assisted model. Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face? VIKAS RAWAT: Initially we faced a struggle with funding issues but as gradually people started understanding our concept, we started generating good revenue and became profitable. Then we faced a further bigger challenge when one very big corporate tried to partner with us and since we declined their proposal, they tried to pull us down from all sides. Thereafter, they created their own website and firm and also copied our process and concept. Gradually, they started poaching our CTO, CSO, and other Directors as well as Employees, Partners, entire sales force, Vendors, and top management and started spreading the rumours about us Subsequently, we faced huge financial and non-financial losses but somehow coped up and kept walking. When the COVID-19 pandemic kept its foot in the country with its first wave, and everybody was bound to stay at their homes due to nationwide lockdown, we got the opportunity to showcase our concept and product to a huge population base and further succeed to reach and attract them at an individual level through the virtual platform like Zoom which also contributed greatly for us to experience a great upsurge in the overall growth of the company. This phase also benefited us to develop and establish a standard and committed team which in order led us to trail a path of success from which we have not looked back to the date. Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for GLOBAL GARNER SALES SERVICES LIMITED? VIKAS RAWAT: We have divided our work territories into 14 States whereby these territories are headed by State Heads who all come from a very stable and decent background and are heartily dedicated to the growth of the company. These State Heads established the team of MCP, CP, ACP and Partners below them exclusively to sell UPOS and recruit Vendors and this team size is increasing day by day. In the next few months, we plan to have 25 offices in different parts of the country which will be headed by our Vice Presidents, selected from within our existing team. With our 900000 UPOS in the Indian market by December 2025, Our MISSION is To create 21,000 Entrepreneurs 36,00,000 Digitally Empowered Vendors 72,00,000 Sustainable Jobs In this journey, we will be creating 21,000 Entrepreneurs who will walk step by step with us working towards the same objective and hyper-focused, with high zeal and passion to accomplish our goal. - Gautam Nimmagadda, Founder & CEO at Quixy
Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business? Gautam Nimmagadda: Through the years of B2B software project executions, I saw a familiar pattern: – Clients would have all the business operations knowledge share their business requirements (further converted into specification documents) with the business analysis team (product or bespoke development), which are then shared with technical teams – Technical teams make changes or develop and/or configure the product as per the specification document and have QA teams test the changes made and provide clearance. – Finally, the implementation teams get the software after clearance, and they take it to the client for acceptance and implementation. Due to a gap of understanding and not envisioning all possible scenarios, very rarely, there would be a situation where the customer is delighted at the end of a software project. This bothered me immensely, and I saw that this situation was prevalent in the software world. I realized that there were two crucial causes for this problem: Business users did not have the necessary skills or tools to build the software themselves and had to rely on others who will never understand the business nuances as the business users do. The current tools & methods of building software are expensive & time-taking and have to go through multiple hoops to make even small changes to the software. This became the foundation idea for Quixy – provide customer delight by providing a platform that business users can use to build software themselves (without relying on others) and build the software at break-neck speed. Great Companies: What are the various Services provided by Quixy Gautam Nimmagadda: Quixy is a general-purpose no-code citizen development platform that businesses can use to model any processes and build simple to complex applications 10X faster compared to traditional development. It enables non-technical business users to create enterprise-grade applications, using simple drag-and-drop design, ten times faster. The platform offers ready-to-use apps for common processes across most organizations. These include an applicant tracking system, employee onboarding, leave management, project and task management, IT service request management, travel and expense management, CRM, etc. These apps can be used as-is or modified as per the organization’s requirements. Great Companies: What makes Quixy different from hundreds of other similar service providers? Gautam Nimmagadda: Our competitors fall under 2 categories. The first category is no-code platforms like Kintone and Airtable which can be used to build basic applications without writing any code. However, these platforms cannot be used to develop complex enterprise-grade applications. The second category is low-code platforms like Appian and Outsystems that can be used to develop enterprise-grade applications but all these platforms require some degree of coding and can only be used by developers who are trained on the platform. Quixy falls under a unique third category that can be used by business users themselves to build powerful enterprise-grade applications 10 times faster and with 60% fewer resources without writing any code. Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face? Gautam Nimmagadda: Marketing a platform like Quixy vs a point (niche) solution for a specific use case. Given that no-code is new to the market, bringing awareness that enterprise-grade complex solutions can be built using no-code. GTM for new geographies in a crowded market. Being a start-up, selling to big enterprises. Continuous Innovation to stay ahead of the competition in a crowded market. Very low adoption of low/no-code from government/public enterprises. Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Quixy? Gautam Nimmagadda: Without a doubt, No-Code will be the future of app development and overtake all of the other methods. We believe that 80-90% of app development will shift to no-code in this decade. This shift to no-code will further spur innovation in this space, which will further improve no-code platforms' capabilities with time, creating a snowball effect. We will also see no-code spread extensively beyond app development to a much broader digital landscape due to the unique advantages of democratization, speed, and agility. We are on the mission to enable every organization in the world to fully digitalize. We will continuously make it easier to build software and improve the capability to handle more and more possibilities. We want to encourage every company to create a digital roadmap and leverage the exciting innovations available on a digital level. Medium and large enterprises have a lot to gain from embracing the digital revolution, and Quixy can help them realize their digital ambitions. Making no-code application development available and more effortless for every interested party is the main goal for us as we advance. Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be? Gautam Nimmagadda: "First and foremost, dream big!" I would suggest. Don't dream small, believing that you can achieve greatness, and don't get bogged on the way to your goal, even if you encounter failures or roadblocks along the way. Those are the challenges you must overcome, which is the whole point of dreaming big and working on this journey. It is critical to keep persisting on something that is, in my opinion, absolutely necessary. One of the most important aspects of success is persistence, which goes hand in hand with speed.
- Astha Gandhi, Co-Founder at Grab Guidance Services LLP
Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business? Astha Gandhi: I, Astha Gandhi (Founder, GrabGuidance), and my Husband, Dr. Himanshu Puri (Chief Consultant, GrabGuidance) have been dedicatedly working in the education sector for almost all our career life. I have been a visiting professor since the beginning of my career with 10+ years of experience in teaching students of Delhi University, Mumbai University and many other institutions. Himanshu have also been into hardcore education by being the Asst. Prof with many B Schools and universities in Delhi/NCR before moving to work with today's Edtech giant UpGrad during its initial days in 2015-2017. After that, he has been into building Legal Tech and Edtech Products since then. Our in-depth understanding of the education and edtech sector, analysis of the problems and needs of our students along with issues faced by colleague teachers and professors led to the birth of GrabGuidance. We always knew that students always have this problem of not having instant and quick support for doubts when doing the self study. Expert teachers on the other side are always wanting to market themselves and earn more. We thought to connect both these students and teachers live on one on one basis through our tech platform on an instant basis for as short as a single query. Today, we have a one click solution to get food or cab. But what about a one click solution to reach a live teacher solving even 1 query instantly when needed from anywhere online. Great Companies: What are the various services provided by GrabGuidance (Grab Guidance Services LLP) Astha Gandhi: Our portal has built a tech system to connect students with teachers of their choice for any academic or career guidance. It's a uber/zomato like platform to book a live 1:1 online session instantly from anywhere for as short as 20 mins solving student's single query too. The portal provides academic and career assistance for class 8th to class 12th school students along with catering to undergraduate and postgraduate commerce and management students. We have also launched one of its kind short term and 1:1 live skill based courses on skills such as entrepreneurship, digital marketing, financial modelling, investment banking, soft skills etc.. We also have specialized 1:1 online career guidance and counselling packages to provide the right path to the upcoming generation. The same offerings we are able to give to the students for any school, colleges and universities as our client too. Great Companies: What makes GrabGuidance (Grab Guidance Services LLP) different from hundreds of other similar service providers? Astha Gandhi: The whole edtech sector is bombarded with the recorded educational content or the subscription model based live tutoring online classes offered by many big unicorn giants in the sector. GrabGuidance never wants to get into that model and hence, never intends to compete with them. We are in fact targeting to tap the rest 3/4th of the market who do not subscribe to these online classes but rather have so many academic and career doubts on a daily basis to get support for. GrabGuidance solves for them in a unique way using technology. Students can very easily come on GrabGuidance's portal, select an expert of his/her choice based on pricing, rating and reviews, book a slot with them as per the available slots mentioned and consume the live 1:1 doubt solving session also on our inbuilt online class system. All happening on one single platform seamlessly. Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face? Astha Gandhi: Of Course being a bootstrapped startup till date, the journey has definitely been full of hurdles and challenges. Building this whole technology stack to deliver a seamless experience from searching, to finding the expert, to booking, to even consuming online sessions all on a single platform was the first thing we had to figure out with the tech team. After we passed through the difficult phase of product development, going to the market and getting our first set of customers was one real challenge because of the rigorous competition prevailing especially in the last 2 years in the edtech sector. Customer acquisition has become so costly because of deep pockets and huge spending by funded startups in the domain. But we have been going strong and sailing. We planned to focus on organic strategies to grow and scale from 1 customer to 100 today which has both B2C and B2B like schools, colleges and universities with 7K USD revenue and 3K MAU achieved in just a couple of months after hitting the market. Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for GrabGuidance (Grab Guidance Services LLP)? Astha Gandhi: Till next 6 months, we would be focussing highly on organic hacks to grow to get a decent traction. After that, we have plans to go for a seed round to scale up inorganically and create a uber kind of model replicated in the education sector in India impacting the sector with huge live doubt solving support anytime, anywhere one 1:1 live basis. After a stronghold in the Indian Market, we intend to explore the middle east and then the US market too as there is a huge demand for Indian teachers in such nations. Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be? Astha Gandhi: If you are thinking of starting off a venture in any domain, there is one most important thing that you have to keep in mind regardless of anything. You need to keep a high level of patience as the first few years of starting up are very grueling. There are more failures and demotivations in comparison to achievements. So, if you can't take that strongly, entrepreneurship is not the thing for you then.

Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business? Ekta Golchha: We were earlier into IT services only. This gave an opportunity to discuss with clients the problems they were facing in their businesses. A major concern for many small and medium businesses was that they simply did not have the resources to track what their salespeople were doing in the field. What does 5 years down the line look like for Delta Tech Pvt Ltd? Ekta Golchha: We aim to help thousands of companies across the globe in the next few years. We plan to grow by partnering with software resellers. Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be? - Harshal Trivedi, CEO at Tusker AI Pvt Ltd
Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business? Harshal Trivedi: I have been serving in the IT-Industry for over a decade now. As a Entrepreneur and as a technologist coming from the Artificial Intelligence domain, I always wonder what more can be done to make people's lives easy and people can have liberty to experiment with AI without having core coding knowledge. I should be able to develop my own AI with my vision. How Enterprises can really involve AI in their daily operations. How can the Team Productivity and skillset both be improved? What can we do to add more value to people’s data? We have certain frameworks and tools for text data but what about Image and Video data? How can we increase the vision in real time insights with video data and solve this dilemma within a few clicks in real time with Analytics brings me joy and satisfaction and I am happy to innovate the current operations? And many more real time Operational AI problems that drove me here to consider this problem and find ways to solve it which I did. These were the reasons that I processed in my last 2 successful ventures and that led the spark to solve it with my 3rd Venture TUSKER AI. I have been working with Image-Video Data Analytical Solution for the past 5-6 years now, and after serving with several solutions globally we deep-dive a fact that Image-Video Analytics or Intelligent Solutions need Huge-Capital Investment in AI-Model Making to process the whole Pipeline. Therefore, our vision is to revamp this whole ecosystem so that we can fulfill our goal of making Image-Video Analytical Solution to reach the masses and any Tech/Non-Tech person can experiment with AI in only a few-clicks. We are on a mission to thrive AI for all & Vision Intelligence for Anybody, Anywhere. Great Companies: What are the various services provided by Tusker AI Pvt. TUSKER’s SAAS dashboards leverages actionable insights for end-users through their image-video data in real-time. Great Companies: What makes Tusker AI Pvt. Ltd different from hundreds of other similar service providers? Harshal Trivedi: The Conventional AI-Model Making and its Training is a tedious part. Also, the similar Production Deployment solutions require months to get delivered. These are the Conventional approaches which are followed. TUSKER AI, right from the Ideation of Model-Making to its Execution, automates and delivers a production ready and deployment ready outcome in only few hours instead of months. Also, the end-to-end Computer vision pipeline is automated only in three-simple steps with a fraction of the cost. TUSKER AI implements mature deep learning algorithms with AIOPS integrated to Unleash & Automate End-to-End Computer Vision pipeline in only one click. Also, TUSKER AI provides the most optimized production ready deployment for industry practices. Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face? Harshal Trivedi: As a entrepreneur, I have witnessed many challenges and when it comes to the adoption of technology, the right mindset plays an important role. So developing the right mindset was the first-big challenge for me as an Innovator. The right audience and to make them ready for this innovation and to prepare them for adoption in their current ecosystem was also a big struggle. Technology Adoption and its Automation. To sustain the AI-automation pipeline in a proper manner, we had to educate the data-provider to feed data with consent in order to function the AI-Automation Technology. So this was another challenge that we took upon. AI-Technology requires a huge-capital as it is expensive. So our major challenge was to make it cost-optimized, affordable, accessible and been able to reach every last person of the community. Therefore, we had a very optimized, cost-effective architecture promoting our AI for all mindset. So starting from the right-mindset, educating people, resources, Data-inputs, technology adoption and cost-optimization were some Real-time struggles or challenges that were our basis in order to deliver the best. Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Tusker AI Pvt. Ltd? Harshal Trivedi: In the past six months, we have developed our Product at MVP and we have already started to implement it in 3-4 big industries. Our customer acquisition strategy involves noting Tier-To-Tier problems in the existing ecosystem and nullifying them. We are working with a determined roadmap with Touchless Acquisition and laying down the feedback from our existing leads. Technically, we are working in a direction to process more and more feeds on a license basis per camera per month feeds with licensing & validations for upcoming months as our target. As of now, our core-prime focus is Research and Product development with upgrading it with best industry practices. For the upcoming year, Our Potential Milestone is that we want to create and sustain user base for platform integrated successfully into our Product and we want to reflect its visibility universally. This are our 1 year expansion plan. Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice for someone just starting out, what would it be? Harshal Trivedi: This may sound too ambitious, but yeah, the number 1 reason I am passionate about my product and in particular AI is that I think rather than fearing that AI will spell the doom of humanity, I prefer to embrace its good visionary side that how our work with AI can be used to help drive the world forward. Our solution saves days of work and also makes it accessible to people globally. Name – Dhara Mehta Business Name – The Kids Company® Location – Mumbai, India Establishment (Year) – 2013 Profession / Specialty – Education/ Founder & Chief Creative Lego Builder Website: www.thekidscompany.in Instagram Handle: @thekidscompany.in Facebook: www.facebook.com/reachthekidscompany COMPANY DETAIL Back in 2008, an M.B.A. working in an MNC, Dhara was unaware that the sabbatical taken then to embrace motherhood would be final goodbye to the corporate world! Here’s a quick overview into the story behind the launch of The Kids Company®, a multi award winning after school activity centre that offers its fun filled, creative and intellectually stimulating program to children in the age group of 3 – 8 years. While she was raising her son, she picked up a very important insight, ‘Play is the work of childhood and the highest form of education’. On observing mommies & children around she realized that while play was a part of a child’s routine it was often used by caregivers as a form of relaxation or break from learning. However, as a mother she realized that PLAY was the best educational tool an adult could have! This thought ignited a spark in Dhara; to create a service which could bridge this gap of play & learning. It did sound vague to many, but she believed in her dream. Being a perfectionist, she wanted to delve more deeper into the subject and hence took up a formal course in Early Childhood Care and Education. She also worked in a day-care cum activity centre to gain practical experience. Both theoretical knowledge, and practical experience reinforced her belief that early childhood education should be filled with lots of enjoyment and play so that children do not miss out on the most important ingredient of growing up. She worked on the insight for almost a year after which she launched The Kids Company® in 2013. The Kids Company's creative and intellectually stimulating program caters to children in the age group of 3 – 8 years. They specialize in academic enrichment, brain games, building logical intelligence through International Board Games and instilling creative thinking through LEGO. The Kids Company has both classroom and online programs to offer. All activities are aimed at improving each child's skills related to logical thinking, problem solving, self-management, communication, and interpersonal skills along with creative thinking and exploration. What started off from one room of Dhara’s house with a bunch of kids has now become a global brand! Since the past 8.5 years The Kids Company's program has benefited and touched the lives of hundreds of kids not only from the vicinity but from all over the world and all this at zero marketing costs! CHALLENGES FACED DURING THE JOURNEY Shifting gears and industries from being a media professional to an entrepreneur in the education industry - starting her own venture and raising a child in a nuclear set up needed a lot of self-conviction. Dhara’s journey so far has been fulfilling and an enriching, along with some challenges. There are a lot of uncertainties when you run your own venture. As a Women Entrepreneur, one needs to be prepared to be hit by any kind of challenges either on a personal or professional front, but a strict routine is all one needs to strike a balance between the two. Initially she got anxious and nervous, but motherhood has made her stronger, and more open to accept surprises that come along – whatever be the challenge/hurdle, work for her continues seamlessly! The Pandemic has surely affected each one of us and she too was not spared! Her entire business needed a brick and motor set up with Board Games and Lego being the main elements for the session to function. While all educational institutions swiftly switched to Online medium, she thought she just need to take a sabbatical. However, the entrepreneur in her could not let her rest and she came up with a completely new curriculum and offering for her students. Well, that was only about planning the curriculum! When it came to executing it, there were a host of other challenges like sourcing the materials (Lego bricks) in bulk and ensuring it reaches to the clients on time. Once she switched to Online, she realized, that the demand for her offering was not only from the city of Mumbai but she started getting calls for admissions from pan India and across the globe. Now she feels the challenge that the pandemic threw up on, was switched to an opportunity by her! ADVICE FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS Dhara advices to follow your passion and do the right things relentlessly without worrying much about the outcome. Focus on the goal and results will surprise you! Her success mantras: • Introspect: It’s been more than 8 years now that she is conducting sessions and at the end of EVERY session, she asks herself, on what note is she sending the child back home? What is it that she could have done better and try and implement it right away! • Innovate: The world is changing and at a pace much faster than one can even fathom? If one is not able to embrace and accept that fact, one is sure to hit the wall! Year on year she sees a new generation walk in the class and its inevitable to bring in some innovation and change in her approach to cater to their specific needs and adapt to their learning style. • Unwind: More often, most entrepreneurs (including me) are too busy to keep the ball rolling at work. Juggling between professional and personal commitments can really take a toll on one’s mental and physical health. A sincere advice to all women out there, it’s important to pause and unwind at regular intervals however difficult it may seem! Squeeze in some ‘me time’ regularly.

CHALLENGES FACED DURING THE JOURNEY The initial years were challenging for us as it was very tough to get some clients. Generally, candidates take interest in reputed or trusted brands. However, we started onboarding small start-ups and we got to learn a lot about the market and understand the dynamics and gained a lot of confidence during the entire process. With perseverance and with excellent client service, Metaskills is now a recruitment partner with big brands in the industry and has partnered with promising start-ups and it is continuing to deliver top-notch results. The pandemic period was a great learning experience for them as well. With 80% of the positions going all remote, it was a huge change in the recruitment industry as well. With the uncertainty during the initial months of the pandemic, many positions were on hold and Metaskills had to devise new strategies to engage more clients. Neelanjana got huge support from her family members, especially her husband who is also her business mentor along with her parents, who constantly motivated her to startup. On a lighter note, Neelanjana’s 6-year-old daughter latched on to recruitment terminologies that she must have overheard during her mother's calls and quipped them in her conversations which provided a comical respite from the pressures of business. ADVICE FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS Neelanjana with all her experience advises hustling a lot as there is no shortcut to success. It is never late to restart your career, especially for women entrepreneurs who are looking to come back after a long break. They are proud to be an all-women team and they encourage female candidates to join in their mission. Neelanjana urges people to read extensively and to experiment and explore new boundaries both in personal development and in business alike. She focuses on building great connections through social media like LinkedIn and working towards building one’s brand consistently. Lastly, she concludes by saying that “Success does not mean never falling, it does mean that you refuse to give up every time you fall”.
