E. Aananthan, Founder at Quench Techno Valley


Great Companies: How did you get the idea or concept for the business?

E.Aananthan: I always had this desire to help people in whichever way I could. I knew so many talented young acquaintances brimming with enthusiasm and zest to make a mark and carve a niche for themselves. And I, a firm believer in the adage, “Don’t give a hungry man fish, teach him how to fish”, tried to bring these young job seekers into contact with some professionals I knew in the hopes of helping them start their careers. However, I realized that it took a long time for the recruitment process to finalise leading to a lot of anxiety and lack of hope.


Hence I decided to start my own company through which I could mobilise my resources at a quicker pace for my own satisfaction and that of many youngsters who lacked the right platform to launch them into successful careers. Thus out of this yearning to quench the thirst for helping others have a fulfilling career was born Quench Techno Valley.


Great Companies: What are the various services provided by Quench Techno Valley?

E Aananthan: We provide a range of services like Talent sourcing, Human Resource management solutions, RPO and professional staffing in IT field various latest technologies and emerging technologies as well.


We also help in Outplacement services which include mentorship, resume writing, placement assistance and interview preparation.


Professional staffing: Permanent (Full Time Employee hiring) staffing right from Junior, middle and senior level hiring.


RPO: Recruitment process outsourcing, project based and time bound SLA based hiring to meet the client expectations


Merger and acquisition is another area where we lend our support and services to staffing companies and help them make the most economically viable and beneficial choices.


Great Companies: What makes Quench Techno Valley different from hundreds of other similar service providers?

E Aananthan: Our USP that sets us apart from other similar service providers is our candidate engagement process and post offer follow up on a milestone basis till the candidates are on board on time.


Unlike other similar service providers we are more personally involved with both the employers and the candidates making our best efforts to ensure that the candidates have no issues in settling into their new roles and that the company has no problems with the candidates they appoint on our recommendations. With shorter recruitment cycles, validation and assessment processes we have a host of happy people who eagerly come back to us for the value we add to the services with our committed staff.


We are probably also one of the few companies who have almost an 80 % female staffing and literally run on woman power! Our committed, self-driven and involved staffs ensures that our clients get well balanced talented value adding additions to their organisation.


Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face?

E. Aananthan: Finding the right companies to sign up with a start-up was the major challenge in the initial years. A similar challenge was convincing the candidates to repose their faith in us.


However as is rightly said, ‘actions speak louder than words’ and our commitment to providing the best and our hand holding of the candidates till they settled into their new roles paid off and now we have tie ups with some of the leading Tier 1 companies in the country including services and product based.


Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look line for Quench Techno Valley?

E Aananthan: The past few years have been a roller coaster ride with innumerable challenges and many new learnings. The slow but steady increase in our clientele has been a great boost for us and five years down the line we see ourselves as a lead provider of recruiting services in the industry. We hope to multiply our clientele to include companies all over the country and also beyond the borders. Expanding to US, UK and Europe


Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

E Aananthan: One piece of advice that I would like to give is Never give up!. It is only when the going gets tough that the tough get going and if you give up when things get hard then you will never go anywhere. Adapt, adopt, modify, rest, reorient do whatever it takes but never give up!
