Zachary Bernard, Founder at We Feature You

Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?

Zachary Bernard: The concept of beginning a PR firm began back in 2021 when I saw an underserved need of helping companies and individuals build their digital presence as authorities in their industries. So many people offer services without trying to differentiate themselves. Having media coverage is one of the best ways to stand out from the crowd.

Great Companies: What are the various services provided by We Feature You

Zachary Bernard: We Feature You provides public relations services, our main focus is media placement in top-tier media outlets like Bloomberg, Business Insider, Forbes, and others but we’re not limited to just that. We do offer podcast guest appearances, TV segment placements, social media verification, and growth.

Great Companies: What makes We Feature You different from hundreds of other similar service providers?

Zachary Bernard: We’re a boutique firm focused on over-delivering for our clients, we don’t just help you gain media coverage and wish you luck with that. We take a DWY approach where we help you implement your media coverage within your marketing to make sure you get the best ROI and we’re also always looking forward to helping clients grow their business in any way we can, whether it’s providing them with referrals, ongoing support in their marketing or general PR strategy, we’re there for them

Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them?

Zachary Bernard: To be frank, it’s never a smooth road in business, I started in the agency space serving clients offering them professionals services but I never realized how tedious the client acquisition process could be, I fulfilled easily anything I’ve ever offered, but it’s always been finding the next client that would be the biggest challenge along the way. You need to be consistent in what you do and tell yourself that if you keep going at it for 6 months, it’ll eventually work out, obviously with the right amount of work.

Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line We Feature You?

Zachary Bernard: Currently, we’re focusing on scaling our operations while still working with a strict number of clients to maximize results and continuously provide great customer service. Our future growth plans include creating a lot of strategic partnerships with companies in similar areas that we know we’d be able to help with their growth and generally just continue reaching out to people we think could benefit from being featured in the media.

Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Zachary Bernard: If you’re starting out in business, my main piece of advice would be to be consistent, it might sound like the usual motivational advice, but it’s a pure truth. If you can keep working on something for 6-12 months without any expectations, great things will come. You have to be ready to go through a lot of doubt, stress, and mental struggles, but it’s part of the journey, and if you manage to overcome those. You can do anything.
