I am a writer by Passion. I love to write fiction and have published 3 Novels and 4 Anthologies of short stories and Poems till now. One of my Novel THE PREDICTION has won the Best Science Fiction Award. The genres in which I have written are Humor, Romance and Science Fiction - Sixth Sense. I love to connect with the readers through my stories. The names of my other novels are A JOURNEY TO REMEMBER & TO ERR IS HUMAN. Apart from several online Interview coverage, one of my interview was featured with a cover story coverage in one of the prominent Literary magazine INVINCIBLE. INFINITE CONVERSATIONS - A collection of Interviews of Contemporary women writers across the globe featured my Interview in their book. IF I HAD A LAST WISH - a short story Anthology featured my short story as a Guest Writer. FUSION, PO'TRY & WHISPERS OF LOVE'2 are the names of the other Anthologies in which my short stories and poems are published.
What challenges have you overcome to reach where you are now
Perseverance, being consistent and believing in my work has taken me a long way. Once I completed my first manuscript my real challenge began. Not knowing anybody from the literary field I was unaware of the process to go ahead with getting my work published. Searching for the right publishers, contacting them and following up with them relentlessly I pursued my dream and although it would have been easier to give up I persisted for nearly one year and finally succeeded in publishing it. From there on, there was no looking back.
What message you want to give for other aspiring women entrepreneurs
My message to aspiring writers would be just one thing - Follow your heart. Be original in whatever genre of writing you are comfortable in and write that. Getting your work published would require you to be persistent and patient. I think the best thing a writer can give to the reader is to influence the readers's thought process, change the perspective, motivate and uplift their spirits, make them feel the feelings of the protagonist and relate to their story. To leave them feeling better after reading their work.
To what do you attribute your success
I am a self-motivated person. I strive to keep doing better in whatever i am attempting. To be a better version of myself with every passing day. I am grateful and humble about whatever little success I may have achieved with my hard work.
