Great Companies: Please tell me something about the business and how did you come up with such an idea? Shikha Mishra: At AEON Surfaces we expertise in Acrylic Based Soild Surface Material. We are Authorised Dealer & Fabricator of REHAU Polymers Pvt. Ltd.(A German Company) for Rehau MINERAL & MONO Surfaces. We not only supply raw sheets, but also provide quality Fabrication+Installation services pan India. I am a Product Designer, graduated from NIFT, Delhi in 2008. I was the first internee at DuPont India where I got the opportunity to explore a relatively new material - Corian. The material has immense possibilities and I am very passionate about it. I wanted to have a space of my own where I can immerse my creativity and technical know-how, thus creating a niche in the market. After working in the similar industry for 8 years, I took the big plunge into the business world in year 2016.

We are Authorised Dealers of Rehau and supply raw sheets. We take up Fabrication & installation services in all types of commercial & residential projects. Using the technique of Thermoforming, CNC carving & Inlay, we make Mandirs/ Wash Basins/ Countertops/ Tables/ Backlit Feature Wall/ Pillars/ Jaali Partitions /Trays + Platters/ Chopping Board/ Personalised Gifting Products & many more. Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face? Shikha Mishra: We do not have easy access to advanced machinery in India. Scarcity of skilled manpower is another challenge. Although, time to time we keep recruiting and keep giving training, but the unorganized structure of fabrication industry has led to instability of manpower.  Great Companies: What do you think are the few main things which are most important for a successful business? Shikha Mishra: Being responsive to your customer is a very important aspect. Quality Consciousness & keeping yourself abreast with the latest outgoings makes one evolve in their businesses. Also, one should keep contributing to the society in one or the other ways.
