Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?
Shaila Dinkar Apte: This business actually started after my retirement as a professor in engineering college in Pune. I had lot of practical experience and had Ph.D. in domain area. While working in college, I got the offer by a Delhi based company for some project in speech. I completed that and then continued working. After 2 years of experiments, I was contacted by a person requesting me to generate products in speech for forensic analysis. I agreed and started working.

Shaila Dinkar Apte: Anubhooti solutions provides products in speech domain for forensic domain in the area of speaker verification with text dependent and text independent scenario, fake audio detection including deep fake detection, Speaker diarisation, noise cancellation etc. We also provide solution for call centres related to call audit, sentiment analysis etc.

The uniqueness of our company lies in the fact that the products are very useful to forensic labs and this work is very useful to the society. It is not the commercial angle that is driving the work, it is motivational for social responsibilities.

Shaila Dinkar Apte: The main struggle is of funds. The business is self funded. No revenue generated yet. The employees are asking for increments. The challenges are related to invention of innovative techniques for generating robust solutions even in noisy environments.
Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Anubhooti Solutions?
Shaila Dinkar Apte: We have a tie up for sales and marketing work. We plan to reach out all forensic labs and sell our products. Five years down the line, Anubhooti Solutions will be a well known company in forensic domain and will be known to everyone in the globe.

Shaila Dinkar Apte: My advice would be work hard with good ethics and morals, you can do miracles.
