Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?
Sanjay Verma: One of my team member from my last company where I was working pushed me to start my own biz. In addition to his suggestion I also had thought of doing this due to my creativity capabilities so I opted this industry. Moreover, I feel very much satisfied when I give some gift to anyone known or even an unknown person. It gives a sense of Gratitude when somebody respond after receiving a gift. I strongly believe that Gift is something that gives Joy & lasting memories for both giver & the receiver.
Great Companies: What are the various Services provided by Perfect Touch Solutions.
Sanjay Verma: PTS mainly deals in all types of Gifting ideas whether it’s a customised or a readymade gift item. The main focus is to give the gifts as per customer budget & for any occasion. We also put lot of focus on customization. After understanding the customer requirement & their budget we always try to convert their idea into a beautiful gift.
Great Companies: What makes Perfect Touch Solutions different from hundreds of other similar service providers?
Sanjay Verma: After working for more than 2 years in this industry, knowing lots of people in similar profile and analysing their way of working I found that PTS is very different in a way that we always show the actual product sample which lots of similar profile people does not do the same. As I feel personally that without showing the actual product to the customer & getting a feel of the product the personal touch is missing which we always take care.
Also Lot matters on your way of presenting the product and explaining its features and benefits to the customer & offering a right gift item as per their budget. Just to mention here that I got lot of biz based on showing the actual product sample to the customer with a perfect presentation. I can refer this point with good examples of Biz Closed with some big Corporates.
I am also being known in my social circle for always sharing a new & Innovative Gift Item every time I do the product promotion.

Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face?
Sanjay Verma: Initially when I entered in this industry I was not having any Godfather who could help to show the right path how to move forward. The main struggle was to find out the right source for right kind of product which I was not having at all as I was not from this industry. So after lot of roaming around & meeting new vendors I got a little success. But I keep on adding new gift items along with vendors on a regular Interval. Then after an year passed I got to know the quality of some selected vendors with whom I still work.
The main challenge was to understand the way of working as per industry norms. Lot of tough instances really taught me to understand the working and also making a proper process of order execution. Just to mention here that my past IT & Cosmetics Industry experience really helped me to understand the same in much faster way and putting them in my daily routine work. I really feel & proud that some of my vendors (who have also become my friend) appreciate my way of working & adopting the industry norms so fast which others took much more years to understand.
Another challenge was definitely the finance as this industry mainly work on upfront payment with No credit facility. Fortunately I did not face much problem and perfectly managed to overcome this problem just because of making a proper process of getting the same from the end customer well in time with NO BAD Debt even after more than 2 years.
Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Perfect Touch Solutions?
Sanjay Verma: Currently I am working on lot of things related to making the organisation to grow & taking to a platform where people from corporate companies see the organisation as the best & Most Preferred Gifting solution provider. I am also using social media platform in a very big way & also trying to add some team members in the organisation shortly who can take the company to the next level.
Just to mention here that currently after starting in Sep 2019 & going thru a tough phase of covid pandemics with 3 breaks (approx. working of 18-20 months) today PTS stands with 51 corporate Gift customers on board with whom we get repeat business (for more than 2 times on an average) from more than 22% customer base which itself is not an easy job & I feel is a big achievement.
After 5 years I see the company on a much bigger platform with a Huge Turnover and at least 300 plus corporate customers in our customer list.
Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
Sanjay Verma: I like to say to all new start Ups or who are looking forward to jump into starting their own biz …few points –
Always do lot of R & D for what you are planning to start – mainly the industry – All In & Outs, all challenges & try to find out way out to work smoothly – Always Look for solutions of problems you are seeing.
Never take short cut – always believe that your hard work will pay back to you in longer run.
Focus on what you are doing & with a good amount of dedication.
Do smart work instead of hard work.
Plan your marketing strategy & finance planning well & always try to maintain a perfect balance between both.
Always share truth with customer whenever there is a problem related to execution of their order. They will help to overcome the same.
Keep your Eyes & Ears always Open & keep an eye on your competition what they are doing and what you can do to become a better solution provider to the end customer.
Last & not the least make sure to be Visible all the time among your customers with some Innovative product to keep you alive.
