Company Details

LAJA is India's first and only Forum that gives women a non-judgemental space to be themselves. We help women identify their skills, update & upgrade their skills, mentor them and help them become financially independent, confident individuals who are better versions of themselves. We achieve this through Monthly Meets where Influencers address and inspire the women, Skills Development and Enhancement workshops, On-line and Off-line expert talks, Experiential learning workshops and an Annual one day Conclave.

What challenges have you overcome to reach where you are now

The Forum is meant for and designed for Women and surprisingly these very women are our challenge. The first step is to reach out to the women and make them understand that they are capable of great things. Since we are self-funded; finding venues for activities, sponsors for events, getting participants out of their homes are the second set of challenges we face almost everyday. Thankfully we have been able to make our presence felt in the Country and are able to draw our women who have gone back enriched, enlightened and empowered. These women in turn talk about our work and bring in more participants. Similarly, our work has been appreciated by many and now we are able to procure space for activities and workshops on a probono or nominal discounted rates. However, there are many more challenges that crop up on regular basis and overcoming them gives us new learnings.

What message you want to give for other aspiring women entrepreneurs

We want women to take charge of their lives and start taking steps even if they are small towards self-development and empowerment. A confident, self-aware and sure women is the key to building a nation of self-aware, confident and Future Leaders.

To what do you attribute your success

I attribute my success to my team of hard working women who passionately believe in the cause of Women's Self-development and Empowerment. I also attribute my success to the faith my family has in my capability and the strength of my conviction.
