Rahul Sharma: I had a strong interest or passion for photography, which led to consider turning it into a business. My passion for the art form and desire to showcase my work to a wider audience had sparked the idea of starting a photography business.

Rahul Sharma: Wedding Photography, Fashion and Catalogue shoots, product, interior and architectural shoots, kids and family Portraits.

Great Companies: What makes Rahul Sharma Photography different from hundreds of other similar service providers?

Rahul Sharma: My artistic vision, my creativity, and photographic style is something that sets me apart. I specialise in a particular genre, I have a distinctive editing style and I incorporate unconventional techniques showcasing my unique perspective and creative output which differentiates me from others.

Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them?

Rahul Sharma: It was challenging for me to find clients, especially for starting out in a competitive market. I overcame this by focusing on making a strong portfolio that showcased my best of best projects. I offered discounts and free sessions to my friends and other people in my network to create a solid bond of work.

Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Rahul Sharma Photography?

Rahul Sharma: My growth plan is to identify specific areas of photography that I want to improve upon. I also wanna assess my current body of work regularly, eliminate weaker images and create a strong and coherent portfolio that reflects my style and vision.

Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Rahul Sharma: Photography, like any skill takes the time to improve, therefore take the time to practise and dedicate regular time for shooting even if it’s just your surroundings. Challenge yourself to see and capture subjects in unique ways and strive for consistent progress.
