Company Detail:

The Moody People Co. is a B2B business. They offer Photography, Videography, Photo/Video Editing, Branding, Ad making, Social Media Creatives, etc. to brands and businesses looking to make big profits. To sum up, they are a ‘one-stop-shop for all the creative requirements. Mrs Rabia Single is a Commerce Graduate from Kurukshetra University and has studied VFX and Animations from Frameboxx Institute of Animations, Chandigarh.

Unique Selling Proposition / Competitive Advantage:

The USP is the ‘personal connect’ that they offer. Mrs Rabia personally takes the queries and understands the requirements of her clients. She brainstorms every project and sees all possibilities to turn the money that their clients spend on them into a successful investment. She offers her ideas, asks for references, sees what’s workable and what’s not. She has a serious OCD for designs and visual alignments. So if anything goes off, it keeps bugging her until it gets corrected.

Secondly, she carries her office everywhere with her. She doesn’t have a fixed physical space for operations. This has helped her in cutting down her fixed costs big time and is able to provide services at competitive prices. they are operating virtually even from before Covid times.

Lastly, she does not consider the job done until and unless her clients are not happy with the outcome. So she offers a decent number of free revisions on one project. After all, what’s the point of her clients spending on her when their purpose is not solved. Building long term relationships with clients is something she thrives for while expanding her clientele too.

Challenges Faced During The Journey:

It took and is still taking a lot to make Indian entrepreneurs realize the value of good Design and Photography. They look to spend the least on Branding. They still don’t realize what wonders a good design or a professional photoshoot can do to their businesses. Mrs Rabia has seen brands having so much potential in their products but performing poorly or unable to raise investments (recent reference, Shark Tank India) because they’re unable to stand out well on the digital front. Which is really sad. Besides this, clients bargaining like while street shopping and wanting big and bold logos on creatives are really a pain.

Advice For Women Entrepreneurs;

‘Don’t let anyone tell you that you should quit’, says Mrs Rabia.
