Great Companies: Please tell me something about the business and how did you come up with such an idea? Neeti Bamb: As a little girl, I was always fascinated by the lovely sarees my grandmother used to wear. She would have people from all across the country to show her these beautiful sarees which she would select from. Looking at her dress up in those sarees, I used to be mesmerized and growing up I dreamt of having the chance to dress her! As I grew older, and attended social events the urge to dress my grandmother expanded to all the women in the room as I noticed people’s clothes and style in more detail. When I was 16, I recognized my passion for fashion. Going through fabrics brought me peace and designing gave me a kind of solitude like no other. Hence began the journey of Neeti Bamb - The Label.

Great Companies: What are the various services and products provided by your company? Neeti Bamb: We specialize in women’s couture wear and ethnic wear . We design bespoke outfits for brides to make their wedding day outfit dreams come true. Great Companies: Why should one choose you over others in this field? Neeti Bamb: We believe in moving the fashion frontier forward. We put forward an amalgamation of Indian and Western cultures, allowing us to boast a product different from our peers.

Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face? Neeti Bamb: Like every business built from the ground up, we face difficulties in scale and reach. We believe in judicious use of resources and with such a strategy, we cannot invest heavily into marketing. Great Companies: What do you think are the few main things which are most important for a successful business? Neeti Bamb: Know the USP of your business. Keep on innovating. Set trends, don’t follow trends. Marketing is the key to good business.
