Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?
Navita Singhal: I worked with a couple of renowned architects in Hyderabad, and after gaining enough experience decided to start my own architectural and interior designing consultancy practice.

Navita Singhal: We At NS Associates provide complete design solutions for architecture, interiors and space planning. The solutions also include structural designing, MEP services and landscaping solutions.

Navita Singhal:
We at NS Associates are passionate about designing everything with an aim to provide functional spaces with an aesthetic appeal in both Architectural & Interior Designs for Residential and Commercial spaces. We give attention to detail to make the spaces look stunning and at the same time functionally appropriate. In short, we at NS Associates understand our client needs to design a space that fulfills all their requirements, physically, aesthetically and functionally.
Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them?
Navita Singhal: The biggest challenge that I faced when I started working after a 9 year gap was that drafting boards had become obsolete in the offices and everybody was using computers, so I trained myself to use the new design tool on the job from my juniors to upgrade my skills and be at par with the working culture prevalent.
Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for NS Associates?
Navita Singhal: We are working with diverse clientele with an aim to grow and are designing all types of spaces, not restricting ourselves to only residential or commercial. We have also started working with builders and will hopefully be doing big projects architecturally very soon. 5 years down the line I would like to have a good team of architects, seniors and juniors working together in collaboration with consultants on huge architectural projects like a complete gated community etc.
Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
Navita Singhal: One piece of advice to someone starting out would be, work hard with no compromise on quality, stay true to yourself and your work and success will be yours eventually.
