We work closely with organisations such as United Nation and ICT promoting women’s education in Technology and Management. As a TEDx Speaker, we has been addressing Forums across the world. We has been quoted on prominent national and International media including Forbes US. Nabomita.com is our platform to evangelise causes and issues such as Technology, AI, Future of Work, Investment, Startups, Employer Branding, Women Empowerment, Entrepreneurship, Gender Diversity and Equal Pay. Won 100 Women Achievers Award by Ministry of Women and Child Development, India. Was invited and attended a lunch with the Honorable President of India, at the Rashtrapati Bhawan on 22nd January 2016. What challenges have you overcome to reach where you are now
I started my firm with zero capital building it to what it is now. I have served largest clients in the industry bootstrapped and working lean. Each of my product was a pioneer in the market. We started building it when there was no demand for it. We created the monetization and created profitable firms. When we started building community, the word Media-tech did not even exist, even in silicon valley. When our product ranked highest on Alexa Internet ranking, ahead of US Gov Website and Payscale Website, I was invited by Silicon valley giants to brain storm the disruption. Our journey was eventful, starting in India where the market was not even ready to being celebrated by Silicon Valley. I am grateful to have received two National Awards , including one from President of India and the other Rajmata Samman, for the work I have delivered so far.
What message you want to give for other aspiring women entrepreneurs
I built my first product from my living room with no investment. My second product started the similar way. If I can do it, you too will. Find that problem that doesn't allow you to sleep at night and build a solution to it. The world is waiting to celebrate your hard work.
To what do you attribute your success
My family, who trusted me with all my flaws and prepared me to excel irrespective of my failures and setbacks.
