The solutions to Customer problems:
We are solving the problem of unemployment and lack of skills especially among Africans. The unemployment rate in Nigeria as of 2022 is at 33% compared to countries like USA, UK and Germany where unemployment rate is at 3.6%, 3.8% and 5.3% respectively. I worked as a Marketing Manager in a tech company and it was proof that opportunities abound in the tech space even as a no-code talent.
We believe that upskilling african youths with tech skills will empower them to build products, contribute positively to the workspace and the society at large and compete globally.
We offer training programs to our customers. As of today, we offer classes in Product Management, UI/UX, Social Media Management, Website Design and Technical Writing. The classes are instructor led and they run for 8 weeks. After learning, the students participate in the Talent Accelerator Program (TAP)where they get the opportunity to intern and practice what they have learnt. They also get the opportunity to be hired by firms.
Other perks we offer at More Techies is the community which currently has over 3000 members and our weekly clubhouse session where we speak with thought leaders in various fields.

Our unique value proposition is in the chain of value we give to our customers. Our competitors in the marketplace offer these trainings and just stop there. We have created a chain where the student joins the free community, takes part in the bootcamp, enrol in the academy. They graduate and take part in the Talent Accelerator Program. This gives them the confidence they need to work and produce results in the workplace. We also recommend them for jobs that match their skill and interest.
Our target market are with the ages of 25 - 45. They are africans living in various countries in Africa and in diaspora. Young men and women alike, some are married however most are single. They work in various organisations and are looking to transition to the tech space. They are educated with a bachelor's degree being the minimum education they have.

More Techies offers programs free to university students periodically. For example, through the Straight From School Initiative, 300 university students benefitted to learn and some of them were offered internships . Most of them have gone on to get good jobs. We also partner with brands that will like to give back to the society through tech education.
