Keshav Munjal, Co-Founder at MCSAM

Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?

Keshav Munjal : Payments & Fintech sector was reshaping itself and entering into a new boom in the early 2015s. B2B payments was a segment that was majorly untouched and everyone was focussed on solving B2C payment problems.

We find that opportunity very exciting and focussed ourselves to create world class B2B payments & fintech products for our clients.

Great Companies: What makes MCSAM different from hundreds of other similar service providers?

Keshav Munjal :

We are niche oriented and our specialisation in the payments/fintech domain provides us an edge. Having worked with many major Payment companies and Banks in India, we understand payments processing from the core.

Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face?

Keshav Munjal : The biggest struggle in today's time is to retain and hire the right talent.

Other than that, the payments industry is evolving continuously and we always have to keep ourselves updated with the latest security measures, transaction methodologies, fraud detections & most importantly reducing the transaction failures.

Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for MCSAM?

Keshav Munjal : We are aiming to become a one stop fintech solution provider company in the next 5 years.

Currently we are developing our own Merchant Commerce Platform by the name PayTring. Our aim is to launch this product by 2022 end.

Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Keshav Munjal : Starting-up requires a lot of courage and perception. However there is no perfect plan or a recipe to start up, but if you have the right product at the right time then you can really create a difference. Just hang in there, never stop hustling and you will see people will start getting connected to your idea.
