Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?
Kajall R Shah: In 2015, when I quit my full time job in the social sector, i observed that there was clearly a lacuna in agencies doing pure reputation management work hence when i started Tangerine, I decided that my focus would be on reputation management.

Great Companies: What makes Tangerine Online Reputation Management different from hundreds of other similar service providers?
Kajall R Shah: Marketing sans involvement or engagement is a passé. The Internet, larger than life, occupies the center-stage and hence engagement with the target audience is imperative. We aim at not only building brands but also brand equity by smartly engaging with the prospective consumers.
Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them?
Kajall R Shah: In the beginning, the struggle was to educate brands and individuals on the importance of building reputations, maintaining them online and keeping them refreshed. The other common struggle we faced in carving a niche as a reputation management team, as we used to be perceived as a regular social media agency.
Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Tangerine Online Reputation Management?
Kajall R Shah: We hope to reach across to brands and individuals globally. Besides, we are looking to also working out ways in which we can spread and educate the importance of content that is conversational, engaging and informational.
