Josh Leitner - Founder of Evertex Linen

Great Companies: Please tell me something about the business and how did you come up with such an idea?

Josh Leitner: I set up a linen rental company in 1990 for the rental of table cloth to hotels and venues. Evertex developed from there, producing table linen, chair covers, first as a feeder to the rental division and eventually as a global provider of table linens.

Great Companies: What are the various services and products provided by your company?

Josh Leitner: We supply anything related to linen. From Tablecloth, Table Skirting and Chair covers, to bespoke back drops and drapes. And of course in today’s climate we are producing fashion ace masks.

Great Companies: Why should one choose you over others in this field?

Josh Leitner: We have huge depth of stock, manufacturing here in the UK so can react quickly and cab cater for bespoke requirements with a dedicated and professional service.

Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face?

Josh Leitner: Cheaper imports from abroad. And in recent weeks of course the shutdown of industry threatens all suppliers in this sector.

Great Companies: What do you think are the few main things which are most important for a successful business?

Josh Leitner: Employee Retention is key; training new staff always means that quality of product is jeopardised. After that customer service and attention to detail are also very important.
