Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?

Himani: I've been employed in the creative agency field for almost 6 years. Always wanted to work in this industry and contribute to society in a way that has a lasting positive effect, and what better way to accomplish so than to assist brands in developing compelling brand stories & plan advertising campaigns that connect with them and address relevant issues at the same time? So that's how the idea began to form while I was employed by another agency. In July 2021, I decided to take this up & formed our company and took the first step towards this vision.

Himani: Being a creative firm, we offer a wide range of Brand & Advertising services. However, we have a forte in Branding & Website Design and Development. With its services, Media Mousse assists businesses in creating a compelling and powerful brand identity.


Great Companies: What makes Media Mousse different from hundreds of other similar service providers?

Himani:

Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them?

Himani: Daily challenges continue to arise, but in the beginning, developing reputation and a clientele was something I really struggled with. It was mostly because of two factors: first, we were a startup, so large and mid-sized companies were wary; second, and maybe most importantly, was my age. Being a young entrepreneur may sometimes result in you not being taken seriously or not being given the same opportunities as someone older to you.

Given how deeply ingrained such a culture is in every industry, we cannot hold anyone responsible. I was also aware that this would be a problem. The best approach to deal with and go past this is to develop your skills, obtain knowledge in many different fields so that you can communicate with everyone, be confident, find cleverer ways to make your point, and let people know what value you bring to the table.



Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Media Mousse?

Himani: The objective is crystal clear: by specializing in Branding and Website Design, two things we are positive we are good at, we carve out a niche for ourselves. In order to guarantee the highest level of efficiency for our clients, we have connected with some incredibly talented people and businesses that are skilled at TV Commercials & shoots. In order to harness technology and discover solutions that improve the outcomes for our clients, we are also in discussions with technology businesses about partnering.


Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Himani: Deciding and taking action is one piece of advice I've heard and strongly follow. The only way to overcome uncertainties and lack of confidence is to confront them head-on and come up with a solution. If anything, you'll fail. But isn't a quick failure preferable to regret?
