While they do sell memberships to thier space, they are very passionate about growing businesses in all of Birmingham. They have multiple events throughout the month that are open and free to anyone in their city. These events focus on networking, education, founder stories, and encouragement for business owners and entrepreneurs! They also have a Free Friday once a month in order to include those in their ecosystem who are not yet in a place to pay monthly for a membership, but still want to be a part of their Forge community. Their Founder serves on the Executive Board of Tech Birmingham and on the Birmingham Small Business Council, which allows them to be very involved and support the entrepreneurial community in Birmingham by opening their space and services for multiple events throughout the year. Their Founder is also on the Advisory Board of the Global Workspace Association (our industry organization) where they serve the larger coworking community with their time, resources and knowledge. At Forge they are in the business of growing businesses. They dedicate a lot of our time to making resources available for those not yet able to afford our services but are working very hard to grow their business!
