Praxis is a hospital planning and management company that helps to set up and run hospitals. We work with hospitals in India, Sri Lanka, UAE, Africa, UK and USA. Praxis MedAssist, an outpatient arm of Praxis has its co-working medical office space in Juhu which also boasts of the first IV Vitamin Infusion Lounge in India!
What challenges have you overcome to reach where you are now
As a woman one faces a lot of challenges professionally and personally. Professionally, upon starting out, being a young woman consulting with top management professionals in hospitals that were mainly males was always a challenge to prove that we can assist them to improve their efficiency in hospitals! Personally, striking the right balance between home and kids with work has always been a challenge! Being able to give enough time as you balance the home front to grow the business to be able to sustain in the initial period with a new venture and see the green on the balance sheet before you start rocketing is the delicate part.
What message you want to give for other aspiring women entrepreneurs
Go for it! No one will ever tell you that you will succeed, have the faith and build your support system while you aim to reach for the stars!
