Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?

Col Rajvir Sharma: I got my idea or concept for the business through my passion for training, which originated from my childhood. Back then, I used to train my friends to help them prepare for military selection processes. As I grew older, this passion for training continued, and I started mentoring the children of my colleagues and friends, passing on my knowledge and helping them develop their skills.

Throughout my life, my father always emphasized the importance of not being frugal when it comes to education. This belief has strongly influenced my actions, and I have carried it forward as a guiding principle.

After retiring from my previous career, I saw a gap in the defense education market and decided to turn my passion for training into a business. I established "Future Army Officers" as a venture aimed at filling this gap.

Recognizing the opportunity to share my expertise with a wider audience, I launched my training business to help aspiring students embark on their first innings towards becoming future army officers. My co-founder Apurva Sharma helped me develop the website and also pushed me to take the leap towards establishing my own business aimed at focusing the future generation of military soldiers.

Col Rajvir Sharma: As a co-founder of Future Army Officer, I've faced significant challenges on our journey. The outbreak of COVID-19 disrupted our plans for a physical academy, but in collaboration with my co-founder Apurva Sharma, we quickly shifted to online courses and virtual mentoring, expanding our reach.

Additionally, Apurva's expertise in technology helped us leverage the right tools and platforms for an engaging learning experience. Transitioning to a business mindset was another challenge, but with Apurva's ‘lets go get it’ attitude and my ‘never say never’ attitude as an army officer, we developed the necessary skills to overcome it. Through collaboration, we transformed these challenges into growth opportunities, making Future Army Officers stronger and better equipped to serve aspiring defense officers in India.

Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years

down the line look like for Future Army Officer?

Col Rajvir Sharma: Our vision for the future of Future Army Officer is ambitious and focused on growth. In the next five years, we aim to have more than 500 students successfully join the armed forces and serve our nation as officers. We want Future Army Officer to be recognized across every corner of the country as the go-to destination for defense aspirants.

To further expand our reach and enhance our services, we are currently developing a dedicated mobile application. This app will provide a convenient and accessible platform for students to access our courses, resources, and mentorship, ensuring a seamless and personalized learning experience. With the app, we will be able to cater to the evolving needs of our students and strengthen our position as a leader in the defense education sector.

Overall, we are committed to continuous improvement, innovation, and creating impactful opportunities for aspiring defense officers. Five years down the line, we envision Future Army Officer as a widely recognized and trusted brand, empowering thousands of students to achieve their dreams of joining the armed forces.

maintain a laser-like focus on your target and cultivate patience to overcome the inevitable obstacles that come your way. Stay committed to your goals, persevere through challenges, and keep pushing forward. Remember that success is a journey that requires dedication and resilience.
