Great Companies

Angela Ventsel , CEO at estx

Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?

Angela Ventsel: Many businesses are born out of a person's passion for a particular industry or field. They identify a problem or opportunity in the industry and use their knowledge to find a solution. That's how estx was born a few years ago, with the desire to offer foreigners the opportunity to take part in the possibilities of the Estonian digital world

and help them open a digital company in Estonia through the Estonian e-Residency program.

What is e-Residency?

E-Residency of Estonia is a government-issued digital identity that gives global

entrepreneurs remote access to the world's most digital country. It allows to securely

authenticate yourself online and sign documents using the most secure and efficient

electronic signatures. In addition, e-residency can be established in Estonia digital

EU company and thereby create a location-free and reliable business environment

for your company.

E-Residency allows entrepreneurs to access the EU digital market and benefit from Estonia's advanced e-governance infrastructure. While e-Residency enables establishing and managing a business in Estonia, it does not grant physical residency, citizenship, or the right to travel or reside in Estonia or the EU. It primarily offers digital services and opportunities for business owners and location-independent professionals.

Great Companies: What are the various services provided by estx?

Angela Ventsel: The main service of estx is to help Estonian e-residents who live in different

countries to open an EU digital company in Estonia. In addition, we offer business accounting and legal consulting services to their company. Estx also base each company's needs and field separately, and therefore the range of services offered may vary greatly depending on the field, target market and specific activities.

Great Companies: What makes estx different from other similar service providers?

Angela Ventsel: At estx, we think that every company is unique and needs a personal approach. We desire to create value for every digital company created in Estonia using e-

Residency, not just registering a company.

For each new company, estx finds out the actual needs and activities of the company, which in reality leads to the company's planned results so that they can land safely in the digital world of Estonia. And all this in a country where they often lack contacts and previous business experience.

The personality, expertise, and solution-oriented approach of our team are exactly the qualities needed by entrepreneurs who have never visited Estonia, but at the same time, they are part of our digital nation.

Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them?

Angela Ventsel: Each person and company faces challenges, and the specific strategies to overcome them may vary. Flexibility, resilience, continuous learning, and proactive problem

solving are the main qualities that help me as a person and also the company come out of situations as a winner. For this, it is important to consciously engage in self-development, which is the only way to reach your potential.

However, to grow and experience life, we need challenges and often must take risks to overcome them bravely. However, challenges must be viewed as opportunities that guide us towards success with experience and provide an impetus for great personal growth and an opportunity to create the right environment for our team to grow. This is the best investment!

Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for estx?

Angela Ventsel: Estx's goal in the near future is to grow and expand more globally, increase the team and help our client's companies grow by providing the best services and growth

opportunities to these companies.

Over the course of 5 years, our values and direction will largely remain the same, but the direction of action, strategies will certainly be supplemented, and thereby include the world in its present potential.

Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Angela Ventsel: Find your passion, start, take risks and don't forget to enjoy the whole journey!
