The company’s flagship product, the Tactical Security Operations Center (Tactical SOC), is a “SOC in a Box” built for battlefield, maritime, and disconnected environments—redefining real-time cyber resilience. The company is also in partnership with RRU, CDAC, and CDOT.

Unique Selling Proposition or Competitive Advantage:

What sets Globals apart is its deep specialization in AI-driven cybersecurity and Tactical SOCs for high-risk environments—bridging gaps where traditional SOCs fail. Its Tactical SOC is one of the few indigenous solutions in the world that offers rapid-deployable, AI-powered cyber defense capabilities tailored for the battlefield and mission-critical civilian use cases.

Under Amruta’s leadership, Globals combines sovereign innovation with global strategy—being invited to present cybersecurity insights at OneConference in The Hague, and awarded Company of the Year at Aero India 2025. With real-world deployments, a strong public sector footprint, and a pioneering focus on AI security and cyberwarfare,

Challenges Faced During the Journey:

Amruta Desai comes from a small town called Gadag in Karnataka, where ambition for women was often expected to be modest and risk-free. Growing up in a middle-class family with no business background, becoming an entrepreneur—let alone in a sector like cybersecurity—wasn’t something that was ever scripted for her. But at 17, while studying computer science at MSRIT, she co-founded Globals with a deep sense of curiosity and purpose.

As a young woman entering the male-dominated world of cybersecurity and defense, she often faced skepticism, whether in boardrooms, industry events, or government meetings. People questioned her capability, her seriousness, even her presence. There were moments when she was the only woman in the room—and many times, the youngest. She had to work harder, speak louder through her work, and carry the extra weight of being “the exception.” But she chose to see that as her strength, not a setback.

Along the way, she was honored to be recognized by YourStory’s SheLeads, Facebook’s SheSparks, and selected as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum. These moments were affirmations—but more importantly, they were reminders that the barriers faced are not permanent. With time, persistence, and purpose, one can move from being “the only one” to opening doors for many more.

Advice for Women Entrepreneurs:

As women, they are often taught to be grateful just to be in the room. But they deserve to be there. They don’t need to over-explain, over-compensate, or shrink to make others comfortable. Build from a place of confidence, not apology.

If someone wants to start something, start it. Don’t wait for the perfect business plan or for validation. Learn as you go. It’s okay to fail; it’s not okay to let fear paralyze you. Surround yourself with people who challenge you and cheer you on. And always remember: just because fewer women are visible in certain sectors doesn’t mean they don’t belong—it just means they might be among the first. And that’s a powerful position to be in.

Build boldly. Lead authentically. And don’t just break the glass ceiling, own the entire floor.
