Amita Gadre- Founder and Director of Holistic Nutrition by Amita

Great Companies: Please tell me something about the business and how did you come up with such an idea? Amita Gadre: I am a qualified clinical nutritionist with eight plus years of nutrition education. After working as a consultant for multiple hospitals, I decided to work in the field of preventive medicine and help make nutrition and healthy eating easier for people. In our times of information explosion, nutrition is being made unnecessarily complicated and hard to follow. My efforts are always focused towards enabling people to understand their own nutritional needs and stop the vicious cycle of 'dieting'. It is high time people stopped focusing on eating 'nutrients' and went back to eating 'wholesome, balanced and real food'. 'The core benefit of eating right is having the energy to meet your dreams and to live a fulfilling lifestyle.' - this the belief that my work is founded upon. Great Companies: What are the various services and products provided by your company? Amita Gadre: Diet for Lifestyle Disorders like diabetes, hypertension, heart disease etc. Weight Loss Gut health/Digestive Wellness Weight gain/Muscle mass gain Diets for Food Allergies & Intolerance Healthy menu consultations Corporate Nutrition Workshops Great Companies: Why should one choose you over others in this field? Amita Gadre: My nutrition advice is rooted in reality and is 100% 'life ready'. It is based on the solid foundation of years of scientific training and implementing the same principles in the daily life of my clients and my own family. I am different because I don't want you to be dieting, I don't take your happy away- I make you more energetic and you learn to embrace all that you can achieve with mindful eating and a fit active life.

Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face? Amita Gadre: In these days of instant gratification, it is challenging to make people understand that real transformations take time and some effort. Educating the customer to not fall for people who do not have the scientific training in nutrition and to focus on their well being and not fall for social pressures, is a challenge. Great Companies: What do you think are the few main things which are most important for a successful business? Amita Gadre: A great product, self confidence, building good will, time management and sheer hard work.
