Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?
Amit Tripathy: In 2020,COVID knocked the door as a black swan event. The global economy crumpled. The workers were left with no work and many got laid off. Laid off workers started moving towards their home towns.
Many skilled workers sat idly at home without having any clue about their work.
It was a dark phase. They did not know how to feed their families. Everyone knew that customers wanted maintenance and repair service but did not have any idea how to reach them.
Meanwhile, MrFixPro came to rescue them.

Amit Tripathy: MrFixPro is a Web and App based platform where skilled professionals register themselves to provide wide array services to customer in the arena of maintenance and repair such as Electricity, Plumbing, Electronics appliances, Home deep cleaning, Pest control, Home painting and Car/Bus wash. All the professionals undergo skill testing and training to prove their potential before launching them to market for customers’ services. Once a customer requests for a service, our application algorithm finds a match between the service the customer has requested for and the professional available in the nearby location.

Amit Tripathy: In the operation part we face some difficulty in the begging days by using technology we can able to solve that problem

Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
Amit Tripathy: Start-ups are the vision and the future. There are a lot of sacrifices, hard work, consistency and most important patience. Patience can make a game and also can fail you at the same time. With this, it is also very important to work for a good cause, which can make a change in the system. The fundamental belief of smart work and hard work should be done, both are equally important we just need to place both of them in the correct places.
