Amarnath Sankar : Well, the original idea we got from our college days. We were literally dreaming of doing and floating in the domain of visual storytelling and visual media, which in fact resulted in the formation of CAT Productions as a media production company by the year 2013.

Amarnath Sankar : CAT Productions is primarily focused on creating B2B video content. Corporate films, advertising films, product movies, campaigning movies, etc. are our key products that would help organisations to position themselves the way they wanted in the market and which would help them grow their business with the kind of strategic storytelling we are bringing with our video content.

Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face?
Amarnath Sankar : I would say every day we have struggles and we face challenges in our business. That's where the entrepreneurial spirits come in, because entrepreneurs always take leverage of challenges and struggles and convert them to opportunities and hope. So, personally, we love facing challenges and resolving them, which would enhance our potential as entrepreneurs as well as category leader in business.
Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for CAT Productions [ C A Technology Entertainments Pvt Ltd]?
Amarnath Sankar : In 5 years, of course, we are looking forward to expanding our presence in more markets, looking forward to serving over 500 corporate customers (now we have 100+ customers, so we are looking forward to having 500 corporate customers in our clientele) and looking forward to exploring the possibilities of emerging content production styles, including virtual reality content production.
Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
Amarnath Sankar : The single piece of advice for someone kickstarting his/her journey as an entrepreneur is this, that person should start it out of the passion that person carries in his/her heart, because I truly believe that the passion in our domain and the willingness to upgrade ourselves is what makes someone a successful entrepreneur.
