Challenges faced during the journey:
Aditi initially faced difficulties being a new mom. She felt she had lost her self-worth and mentioned that she went from being an accomplished and recognized sales professional in the events and entertainment industry to being nothing but a mom. She took years to realize that she can do more than wallow in self-pity. Later, she went on to unlearn and learn what she calls “old monkey, new tricks”. She voiced out her needs and ambitions and got the support she needed. In addition, she went on to get certified as a career counsellor (which she did not pursue) and a communication coach. Today, with all her hard work, she is getting recognized for the work she does and being gratified by the people she empowers.
Advice for women entrepreneurs:
Aditi requests women not to give up on their dreams because of relationships. She says, “ Don't undermine yourself just because you can." You are a mom, wife, daughter, and sister today and you will be all that tomorrow too. Those relationships will not change. But it's time you give yourself the attention required to grow and learn, to shine bright and beautiful.”
