A 5 Way Daily Planner for Increased Productivity

  1. Draft a plan:  mapping out a plan for the day gives a good kick-start. Planning makes it easier to accommodate different appointments in a timely manner. Planning also releases mental clutter and mind can easily focus.

     

  2. Time management:  time management is the art of getting things done. To increase productivity implies getting more and more work done within the same time limit. Managing time included planning meeting, appointments and even breaks. Drafting a neat time table is only the first step, sticking to it as strictly as possible is the difficult thing to do.

     

  3. Prioritize: list down your tasks to be done in the order of your priorities. Take up the most important task during that time of the day when you are most active and energetic. Complete the task which is your top most priority first. Do not delay or procrastinate it raises stress levels.

     

  4. Eat and drink well: often people, who are too busy scheduling their work, forget about nourishment of their body. Taking three meals, especially breakfast is important; along with it taking at least 8 glasses of water is a must. Skipping meals is a complete no-no, while working the body and mind need all the energy they can get, without eating their functioning gets hampered.

     

  5. Wrap in time: all work and no play makes jack a dull boy, we’ve all been hearing this since childhood without realizing how true it really is. Beginning work on a good note is as important as finishing it in time. Wrapping it up at a fixed time and taking some time to relax and have a good night sleep is extremely important.
