Great Companies: Please tell me something about the business and how did you come up with such an idea?
Zakir Hussain Rangwala: I have been into selling security solutions since 1992. We felt that in India there is a very big SMB market and they require solutions which can be useful to them at a correct price with good support. And hence BD Soft was born. We have over the last 4 years, portfolio of products which are very useful to SMBs. Each of our product can be used by them to make their digital life and work more secure without burning a hole in their budget.

Zakir Hussain Rangwala: We have products like 1. Bitdefender - Consumer & End Point Security, 2. EndPoint Protector- Dataleakage Prevention, Digitware - backup on cloud service, Mailvault - Mail Archieving, Search inform - Employee & Risk Monitoring, Abbyy - OCR.

Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face? Zakir Hussain Rangwala: Since we have started every year we have lost 3 months to various issues not in our hand. Demonitisation - 2017, GST - 2018 and now Covid. Still we have not lost our edge and our team has found way to keep afloat and help our partners do business and protect our customers alike.

Zakir Hussain Rangwala: Focus and only focus on the goal , and a action plan for every situation, flexibility are the main things important in todays business scenario.
