Vishal Ajwani: In the year 2015 I was associated with a Bangalore based reputation management start-up which was helping hotels in solving the issues of customer feedbacks and reviews, during this period I realised that the hotels were not able to optimize their online revenues from various OTA’s, that’s when the idea of creating an online revenue management firm started brewing in my mind.

Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them?
Vishal Ajwani: In Sept 2018, we suddenly faced a turbulent time with several road blocks, we were heading towards bankruptcy, Business Development and sales activities were at its all year low, 2 of 3 directors resigned and the company was on the brink of a shutdown. Along with Ms Smritee Shah, the then Head of Ops, (now the Co-founder) of revmerito decided to re-strategize and restart the operations from grass root levels once again. Today we are proud to be recognized as one of the top Online revenue management firms in India backed with several awards and recognition.
Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for revmerito?
Vishal Ajwani: With more than 100 plus hotels mainly from the 3-5 Star category we are aiming at becoming the largest KPO in India with 1000 plus Hotels. We are looking at our brand presence in continents like South East Asia, Middle East and Europe by 2027 which will also mark 10 years of our operations.
