Twinkle Gogia, CEO at Breakthrough Careers


Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?


Twinkle Gogia: I was working for Olam International, one of the largest MNC in agri commodities. I realised there is a huge potential for executive search business in Africa. That time, in 2006, there were a handful recruitment firms catering to Africa and I saw an opportunity and started Breakthrough Careers initially catering for Africa. Currently we work across the globe.

Great Companies: What are the various services provided by Breakthrough Careers?


Twinkle Gogia: We are into Executive Search and Research. In research we do analysis such as salary benchmarking, recruitment trends, salary corrections projects for our clients.


Great Companies: What makes Breakthrough Careers different from hundreds of other similar service providers?


Twinkle Gogia: Quality over quantity is what makes us stand out from the crowd. We work on niche roles and we work very very closely with each client. Each client has a dedicated recruiter who is there to assist till closure and onboarding.

Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them?


Twinkle Gogia: So far so good. I believe there is enough business for everyone in the market. The only challenge we faced was during covid when the entire world was on a standstill. Other than that, our work has been very consistent and we have been doing very well.

Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Breakthrough Careers?


Twinkle Gogia: We will continue to remain a boutique firm and continue to work on the principle 'quality over quanity'.

Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?


Twinkle Gogia: Network, network and network. The only way to grow your business is to network with the right set of people.
