Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?
Suresh Kumar Varadachari: Actually I started creating Android apps as a hobby and then created many innovative apps, also participated in many Events and Hackathons. In 2015 two of my apps got selected for Trelleborg Appstar Contest. Then during demonetization, I created an application called “Modi Keynote” to spread awareness to the people.
“The idea was to make people understand the key points spoken by our Prime Minister in a different and interesting way using augmented reality technology. The Modi Keynote app plays Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech on black money, when it detects a new Rs. 2000, 500 and 200 Rs note has been scanned by the user via the smartphone’s camera.
However, because of some “YouTube videos and social media,” spreading false statements of authenticating the currency, something the app was not intended for and the app crossed almost 4.5 million downloads when it was taken down by myself “in the interest of the public.”

Suresh Kumar Varadachari: We create mobile app solutions for Small Business with a minimum cost and sometimes we give it for free. We help them make their daily business operations seamlessly without any Hassle. Also provide them cheap mini Bluetooth printers with no need to purchase high cost equipment.
On the other side we run our Start-up Company by creating innovative apps and games to earn money through In-app purchases and Ad platforms like Admob, Unity Ads etc.
We developed various Mobile Apps to cater a wide variety of customers. For example, creating Mobile Apps for wedding videos where the entire video is categorized to multiple categories like Mehndi, Reception etc. So that the user will access all his content with ease and no worry of being lost or damaged.
We opened an institute to train the next young generation kids to learn about Android and iOS Apps. Also help them build their own ideas and publish it to Google and Apple Stores. For promotional activities we teach them tools to create Icons, Promotional Images and Videos. We charge a very minimal fee for kids based on their financial status.

Suresh Kumar Varadachari:
We create Unique, Innovative and Creative Apps and Games. Which will help bring awareness to people and help them understand the technology. Also create local content as games and stop our kids getting addicted to Shooting and Fighting Games. For content creators we create video editing apps where there is no need for a computer they can create videos just using Mobile Phones.
Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face?
Suresh Kumar Varadachari: I spent all my earnings and savings money to keep the company Alive and have not taken loan from any Bank and because of COVID-19 we were badly hit financially and now in a verge of Bankruptcy. But still we managed to make the team work from home and developed a Game called “Tirupati Bus Driver”. But our company got a lot of pressure from the Media, Hindu Activists and political parties to remove it from Stores.
Our only intention is to keep our kids away from shooting and fighting games with our local content. All media channels and local Politicians projected us as criminals and robbers. They never valued the effort we put in to develop the Game. Instead they killed our Innovations in the name of Sentiments and projected us as criminals and they barged into our office and forced me to delete the content from the Stores.
Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for BSK Studios Pvt Ltd?
Suresh Kumar Varadachari: We are now planning to shut down our company and are scared to develop or create Innovative and Creative content. We all decided to join MNC companies or travel abroad to earn and live.
We have raised voice in Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms to Central Govt., State Govt. The sad part is none of them responded to help us.
Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
Suresh Kumar Varadachari: Never ask help from anyone just do it on your own in initial stages. I advise not to start a company without financial or political background. Because the Media Channels, Local Politicians will play with you by taking your content and make you look like criminals and Robbers. No one will help you in INDIA when your Start-up company is in trouble. Just remember that.
