Company Detail:

The Set Me Free Project ® is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring prevention education to youth and families to stop human trafficking before it begins. Our curriculum is informative, interactive, and flexible, reaching students (K-12th grade), educators, parents and leaders in every facet of our communities. The Set Me Free Project ® is unique in our use of engaging, age- appropriate curriculum in every presentation. We focus on defining human trafficking and helping students identify why and how they could be at risk. We provide a foundation for all students to recognize the intrinsic value in every human being.

Unique Selling Proposition or Competitive Advantage:

Our curriculum is age-appropriate and engaging. We also provide ongoing support long after the training has ended.

Challenges Faced During the Journey:

I give Stephanie a lot of credit as it is not an easy task to create and sustain a nonprofit. Many nonprofits don't survive especially during the peak of COVID-19. In fact, Stephanie made a pivot in how our curriculum was delivered in schools as a result. Stephanie has been successfully running this organization for almost 10 years now.

Advice for Women Entrepreneurs:

Stephanie often speaks about the power of resilience. "Resilience is not just bouncing back; it's rising stronger, wiser, and more determined than ever before." - Stephanie Olson
