Shreekant Patil, Founder & Mentor at PARENTNashik

Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?

CE Shreekant Patil: After working for 10 years with one company, I found most of the automotive industries need best quality products and on time delivery other technical problems to be solved, so I decided to start new small business in 2004. he says, “I’m here

to help customer’s welding consumables related problem, support them at their crucial time. I developed more than 300+ parts in copper alloy & other material with low-cost manufacturing techniques with world-class quality. My dream was to supply Weld-Parts to world’s #No 1 car manufacturer, which is fulfilled in 2014”.

One of my customer, colleagues and friends who motivated me and explore about my capabilities before I start this startup. They told me, I worked for other company with full devotion, why not to work for yourself. That ignited the spark and started my own business.

CE Shreekant Patil: Even though I choose to launch a firm manufacturing mechanical products and export them to other countries, having electrical engineering background forced me to work harder to secure orders in the Indian market. When PARENTNashik initially struggled to receive orders from Indian clients, I started to grasp the manufacturing challenges facing by the automotive sector and began using my experience and knowledge to resolve them. I consequently began receiving orders from renowned companies like TATA MOTORS, FORCE MOTORS, ASHOK LEYLAND, etc.

After successfully serving Indian consumers for five to six years, I turned my focus to the global market. In 2006, I got my first international order, and from that point on, I never stop attempting to reach Europe, the USA, and the Middle East. Right now our products being used by international brand in USA, Europe, Middle east like Ford, Honda, General Motors, Bentley, etc.

Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for PARENTNashik?

CE Shreekant Patil: From the inception of PARENTNashik until the end of 2007, my e-startup was not in a good financial position. Over the past three years, I have experienced many setbacks and returned to zero. The investor then withdrew their investment and this time was very important for me to stand on my own.

After that, my wife, Sneha, supported me and encouraged me to work alone until I succeeded, even if it took a long time. Then I decided and set goals for the next Year and moved towards them with a vision. We received our first export order and it continues to this day. The growth rate of my business is now increasing by 15-30% each year. In 2018, I purchased his 10,000-square-foot factory in the Nashik industrial area.

Over the next five years, we will add more products for the automotive, switchgear, and electrical industries, implement Industry 4.0, set up joint ventures with foreign companies, encourage foreign companies to invest in India, and double our business. and help the Indian economy with puppets and more jobs in India.

Entering the 21st century, the world has become very small due to globalization and
