Shivansh Sethi, CEO at Aiotize

Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?

Shivansh Sethi: In my early days during university I was fascinated by Integrated Circuits and Systems Engineering. Eventually this was enhanced by my stupendous faculty to spark a curiosity for complex connected systems. I started building my own solutions using the basic microcontrollers and RaspBerry Pi and now the journey has come to using cutting edge ATMEL ATmega 1284. After college in early days of my career I realized the potential of interconnected systems and its impact on smart living, at that point I think I found my calling.

Great Companies: What are the various products and Services provided by Aiotize

Shivansh Sethi: We are a very dynamic organization. Our offerings range from unmanned asset management and automated surveillance to complex industrial automation. In the B2B market we maintain our reputation by conducting extensive consultation to resolve the crucial pain point of our client. We also actively participate in our community through collaboration to turn ideas into POCs. The wheel does not stop turning here at Aiotize.

Great Companies: What makes Aiotize different from hundreds of other Artificial Intelligence firms?

Shivansh Sethi:

In the world of AI and IoT similar solutions solve multiple problems for clients in the market. The thing that makes us different is our approach for different kinds of technical implementations to gel up and work perfectly in production scenario. We also emphasize greatly on systems security and quickly adapt to our client’s security policy.

Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face?

Shivansh Sethi: One of the greatest challenges faced by any AI/IoT firm is to translate the ROI after implementing these solutions in your enterprise. Lots of customers get impatient however they realize the worth in the long run.

Managing an ever growing team of optimistic people and keeping them aligned on their objectives is what makes this a challenge full of fun.

The responsibility of various employees and their families and the eagerness to plough through this pandemic together is what drives every entrepreneur these days.

Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for Aiotize?

Shivansh Sethi: As a business owner my ultimate goal is growth. After all, when your business grows it's a sign that you've finally made a name for yourself. 5 years down the line for any AI/IoT firm is bright no doubt. We think we would have established ourselves as pioneers in the field of autonomous drones and industrial automation. We would also be venturing into home automation to cater larger sets of people.

Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Shivansh Sethi: Failure is the key to success, either you succeed else you learn from the journey & exp.You WILL fail. Success will not look like what you have in mind if you don’t fail miserably.

My advice to the young blood, is rather than doing MBA go do a Startup. No formal education could teach you entrepreneurship, rather you’ll also make some money if everything goes well.
