Great Companies: Please tell me something about the business and how did you come up with such an idea?
Jasmin Whately:Â Personal Experience made me want to create change, I started Whately Photography with the vision to help others see their own individual beauty. A lot of people growing up will generally have the same experience of school yard bullies, bullying their appearance and just who they are in general. Our own individual Beauty on the inside and on the outside are all unique, i created Whately Photography to help share our own individual beauty, emotion and personality.
Great Companies: What are the various services and products provided by your company?
Jasmin Whately:Â Whately Photography covers many area which includes: Weddings, corporate, Maternity, New-born, Boudoir, Family Portraits, Events and Model work.
Great Companies: Why should one choose you over others in this field?
Jasmin Whately: I enjoy Weddings as it gives me the opportunity to see the couple together and create a story based around them. Once i find out a bit about them, i am then able to capture there authentic emotions based on what they love.
Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face?
Jasmin Whately:Â With a lot of Photography businesses out there, our main challenge was standing out in the crowd, so we tried a few avenues to market the business by seeing what other businesses were doing and found that it didn't suit our businesses Values, then we realised the answer was straight in front of our face, we want our clients to feel connected with us with open communication whether that's over a cuppa or a phone call, and to feel comfortable in front of the camera, so we needed to be able to connect with our clients with using our own Businesses values. We then decided to contact a few business coaches to see who was the best fit to help us define our marketing and sales whilst keeping to our core values, unfortunately we found a couple of business coaches who wanted to change our way of dealing with our clients in a more confronting pushy way, then we finally found a really good Business coach who appreciated our values and worked with us to define it, and then our last challenge was we got really busy which i say is a good challenge so we decided to hire some staff making sure they accepted and appreciated our businesses values and now we have an amazing team of 5 to present our business and its values to our clients the right way.
Great Companies: What do you think are the few main things which are most important for a successful business?
Jasmin Whately:Â Patience, Passion, Commitment, Dedication, Strong Relationships, Customer Focus, and Value.
