Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?

Babu Jose: When I decided to start my own business, I choose the same area I had worked in before. From there I was clear that a lot of people were getting benefited by us. The realization that it could be done a little better led me to this. Also, only small part of our population is connected to technology and the rest of people not yet. I wanted a change in this also a reason to start business.

Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Babu Jose: Customer has become a priority for many organizations. They forget to give priorities for the team. it’s time to change our views. Time has come to work on enriching the team experience just as we do the customer experience. It’s all about giving them a feeling of fulfilment. There for if you are planning to start a business especially in service sector, try to be more responsible and give more importance to the team satisfaction same as customer satisfaction. There are hygienic activities and motivational areas while managing the team and we need to take care of both at the same time to make sure the organisation is productive.

Great Companies: What are the struggles and challenges you face?

Babu Jose: In service sector, the country is yet to recognise many services as industry and value additional activities and this reflects in the incentive schemes and bank finances. Many of the businesses are not ready to open up their processes to improve and they still follow old methodologies, educating these organisations takes time.

COVID-19 has offcourse is still a challenge and situation we need to manage.

Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line look like for GREAT LEAP?

Babu Jose: Nowadays we do things that technology will replace or automate many business processes and we are already in that route. We are diversifying our services in many more areas where we can utilise our analytical and research skills to benefit many more organisations in their quick and error free decision making.

It’s necessary to make a change. We do not intend to grow only our business but also the business of others. We look forward to share the knowledge in different platforms to the community and see ourselves as an promising and emerging IT enabled service provider serving more than 1000 organisations by 2025.
