Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?
Anagha Dattatray Joshi: The decision to move back from USA to my motherland India triggered this discussion with the partner of the company I was working with. He suggested I start an offshore centre for the company in India to tap into the vast tech skills and support all kinds of tech product development. I immediately took this suggestion, came back to India, and started EBA Solutions Pvt. Ltd with my partner Mr. Ram Kumar.

Anagha Dattatray Joshi: With extensive knowledge in process management and technology, our team enriches the overall competency of an organization. We provide all sorts of technical support. Be it SAP ABAP, SAP Ui5, DotNet, or MEAN/MERN Stack. We build a team for your requirement that consists of Technical team, Scrum Master, QA and Project Management together working towards your goals. We also partner for IT product sales and implementation across the globe.

Anagha Dattatray Joshi: EBA is not your typical service provider. We do not fill gaps of missing resources in your team. We are here to build the team for you and make sure the team works together to achieve all the goals that you set. We facilitate recruitment, smooth functioning, resource management and resource facilitation. We also partner to sell the products and offer implementation services for your products.
Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them?
Anagha Dattatray Joshi: Being a first-time entrepreneur I had to face many challenges from getting right people for the job to managing all aspects of a business. In this process, I discovered myself as a leader who by being human, was able to connect to people and get the right people to follow me in this endeavour. I am proud to say that 4 of my first 5 techies are still part of my EBA Family. Being a computer science postgraduate, I was already on top of my tech game but being a commerce graduate helped me understand finance easily. Just by being honest and putting myself in my employees shoes every time I take a decision made me a better person and a leader. I have faced challenges every step of my way for past 11 years and I have emerged out of them by applying my wits and might to find solution to every problem. I found out that I am a problem-solver at heart who likes to find solutions rather than harp on any weakness or curve ball that life throws.
Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What does 5 years down the line EBA Solutions Private Limited?
Anagha Dattatray Joshi: My plan for EBA is to become a product company. I want to create products that solve problems people or organizations face in their day-to-day work. I want to create products that automate mundane tasks and free people to do the tasks they like. I am not a big fan of the valuation game. I like to take it slow and steady. EBA will be developing the products with its own strength and experience. We are here for the long game. So, 5 years down the line you will see EBA as a product company with the best human culture where people will want to work and build their future.
Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
Anagha Dattatray Joshi: Enjoy the Journey. Always keep ‘Learning’ as top priority and you will find there are no failures.
