Great Companies: How did you get your idea or concept for the business?

Akassh Ashok Gupta: Before starting Peepoye Network, I worked in corporates in a leadership position for 2 decades. It was during mid of this journey when I realized that one skill or an art that I am using in my job as a process transformation consultant is to solve problems of big houses but then I started realizing that the value that I am generating is immense for these companies but what about all those who are struggling with so many issues in their personal space or their social environment and that’s where the seed of creating content on social awareness started seeping in. I was always quite opinionated and had a strong personal perspective followed by a logical rationale which was not always the popular view but then carried a lot of merit because of its unique nature of dissecting things and I was sure if I create a platform whereby, I can start sharing these opinions for a wider audience, the value it would create will be a great support that so many need around us.

I started with the first few videos and with the feedback that started pouring in the comment section made me realize that I can actually bring a positive change not just in businesses but in the whole social environment.

While working in corporates, I started with a YouTube channel named “Peepoye” in 2016 with a mission of uncovering the hidden. I started uploaded my opinions on various social events, incidents, trending topics on this channel and organized change campaigns to raise awareness on some of the very sensitive topics and with time I could actually see an on-ground impact of our work.

Some of our opinions around ‘Zomato Controversy’ and ‘Lucknow controversy’ was picked up my mainstream media channels and quickly Peepoye became a brand that people started trusting in. We started receiving thousands of messages across our social media platforms and some of our videos got so viral that, we touched almost 100 million impressions on these two topics alone across social media platforms. At this time ‘ab kuch nahi chupega’ tagline was coined as i thought now we have the community as well as the responsibility to talk further on more issues related to a common man.

This mission was not easy though to do in parallel to a high-stake leadership job and thus, Last year, I quit my job and took YouTube as full-time work, and since then our YouTube channel has grown from 300K subscribers to 970K+ subscribers. During this stint, we have endorsed lot of value brands and covered lot of stories where two stories became widely popular where one was about an Indo-german couple who were harassed by their society members over a matter of dog’s poop and the other where an innocent guy ‘Rankaj Verma’ inspite of being innocent was dragged into ‘Chandigarh University MMS Scandal’ just due to careless and breaking news of some popular mainstream news channels. These topics provided further proof of how an intention, a platform like youtube and a community that thinks and works together can bring about bigger changes. This was further confirmed when

Rankaj publicly admired our work as the sole reason he came out of the jail and could even eat inside as he knew that we are covering this.

During this time one more thing happened and that is the growth that we saw on our channel and for sure my process transformation and consulting experience was helping unknowingly as i did understand YouTube algorithms way better than most of the youtube creators in the space do as i do data analytics for everything i do at a much deeper level including some scientific models around creation of audience avatar which many creators or influencers don’t even get to.

So what happened is when I mentioned the same in some videos, i could see many YouTubers who were doing even better than me started approaching me to understand YouTube and improve in their niche. I knew the power of YouTube and how it is going to boom in the coming years. I also knew that I can guide people to accelerate their YouTube journey in such a way that no one else can do because of my corporate experience and an avid student of methods to madness.

Hence, I decided to launch a product named “YouTubeneur” which is a course to become a YouTuber+Influencer+Entrepreneur where we are going to teach people how to really create content, share value and create multiple revenue streams by using youtube as a platform and by doing what you love the most.

I am really looking forward to share this method as this is really integrated and well knitted to my own back story of switching from Job to creating Peepoye network and following my heart. We have a target to change lives of 1LAC+ people who we want to live their life and make their life by breathing passion and so our new tag line for the learning vertical and all the buddying ‘Youtubeneurs’ has been coined as ‘i breathe passion’

Great Companies: What are the various services provided by Peepoye Network

Akassh Ashok Gupta: We provide 1-1 youtube channel audit & consulting services for existing YouTubers.

We also provide a YouTubeneur course which is our flagship course that gives a clear-cut formula to fresh and existing YouTubers to excel in their YouTube journey and create multiple revenue streams organically by using youtube vs spending money on ads.

We also have a mastermind group where I am personally invested every week in my member's journey as together we try to collaborate and achieve our respective goals.

Great Companies: What makes Peepoye Network different from hundreds of other similar service providers?

Akassh Ashok Gupta: Peepoye Network is led by me (Akassh Ashok Gupta) who holds 2 decades of experience in the corporate world in a leadership position. This is what makes Peepoye Network different from any other similar companies. Be it a social or a business problem, I am someone who people look up to for a new perspective and solution. I understand technology, systems, and processes quite well, and that gives me that edge to stand in a global market tall as an influencer and now an entrepreneur and teach the same formula to others which they can simply copy and paste.

Great Companies: What were the struggles and challenges you faced and how did you overcome them?

Akassh Ashok Gupta: Leaving my job in a leadership position and choosing my passion which had no income source at that time was the biggest challenge indeed. We could not earn much even from the YouTube videos as most of the videos remain non-monetized as they contain sensitive information. I kept doing part-time consulting based on my contacts and network in the corporate sector and a great rapport with the brands.

Also, all these challenges were small as I was loving what I was doing & furthermore, what we were earning was a positive impact in the real world. With time, people started looking up to me and I established an influence in the market and started getting brand deals too which solved the income problem. Now we are further creating multiple revenue streams by the sheer principle of sharing amazing amounts of value.

Great Companies: How do you plan to grow in the future? What do 5 years down the line look like for Peepoye Network?

Akassh Ashok Gupta: We have undertaken a mission to help 1,00,000 people to live and breathe their passion. I have a ready formula for them to cut, copy and paste and I am ready to share this with the world which is called “Youtubeneur’. Under this flagship product, we provide an interactive community and hold live events so that their journey is monitored and coached at regular intervals and they are not alone in their journey but a community they can collaborate with.

On the content production side and the brand ‘Peepoye’, we are now focusing on a short content program and expanding our content production team. Next year, we plan to do collaborations with big influencers in our niche so that we can start providing the perspectives which are important for the betterment of our social environment as that’s the most important thing that affects the psychology of humans. We have also created a changing community that is growing and we will start taking initiatives that are implemented on-ground as well apart from social media spaces alone.

In 5 years' time, Peepoye network has the vision to produce a reality show which is based on an important principle of human psychology in various ill conditions and how you can manage the emotion of anger, guilt, and fear and replace them with high vibration state of ultimate bliss which is the need of the hour. We also aim at growing our change and learning communities as I believe communities will thrive as we get into 2025.

Great Companies: If you had one piece of advice for someone just starting out, what would it be?

Akassh Ashok Gupta: What you think is what you become. There’s nothing impossible if you really believe in it. Follow your mind and focus on money in the short term and you will get stressed out soon, you will feel uncertain sooner but Follow your heart and create a long-term goal and break it down into actionable tasks and projects that you are passionate about and the long-term journey will be a bliss and keep supplying happiness in abundance. Achieving a goal is not important but making the journey towards that goal is extremely important as only then you will attain it and that is only possible when you breathe your passion. I breathe passion… do you?
