Aayush Chaudhary: I am the founder and Principal Architect at ACad Studio. ACad Studio is a construction consultancy firm. We provide services like: Architecture Design, Interior Design, Construction Project Management, BIM and Turnkey Solutions.
Great Companies: Why should one choose ACad design studio over others?
Aayush Chaudhary: ACad Studio aims at uplifting the standards of small/medium size projects in India, which are neglected. We work with new technologies and techniques to provide a world class service to a sector where the importance of design and management has been neglected for so long. We work with techniques used in huge infrastructure projects even in small and medium scale projects to manage the design and its execution. We believe in pre-planning everything and our designs are unique. The studio has a philosophy of ‘form follows function’ and rich knowledge of different architecture style. The Studio is not afraid to experiment with different architecture style to produce the best functioning and aesthetics of the building. We understand the implications that can occur while designing and execution because of our rich experienced team, hence we foresee risk during pre-planning and help client mitigate them. With our management system we help client save a lot of money and time during construction.
Great Companies: Why do you think it is necessary to hire a design studio?
Aayush Chaudhary: Its necessary to hire a design studio, because only trained professionals can help one build a desired building taking into account all the factors in the design. An untrained, non-professional or a self-claimed architect can not fully understand all aspects of design and will not be able to produce a building which is flawless. Architects are trained for 5 years in the design college to tackle any sort of problem and come with the best design under all circumstances, which I believe a self-proclaimed architect cannot do create. Also, the client’s need to understand that without hiring a professional, there are chances that the quality of spaces that will be created will not be up to the mark and might not even be liveable.
Great Companies: What was the intention behind the initiation of this venture?
Aayush Chaudhary: As stated above, the intention behind the initiation of this venture is to uplift the standards of Indian Construction sector, as we are still primitive in this field and too afraid of the change. The Indian Construction sector constitutes 8% to nation’s GDP and we can save a lot of money while doing so by adopting various new techniques, enhancing our technology, upgrading our safety equipment and guidelines and creating new design philosophies. ACad Studio is not just an architecture studio, but a construction consultancy firm where we tend to solve all the problems related to construction with confidence of creating the best outcome from the situation. We believe in sustainable process, where each and everything is taken care of. With our design ideology, we want to make a mark on India’s skyline, hoping to create a better future for everyone involved in the process.
Great Companies: Do you have any message for the young graduates in the field?
Aayush Chaudhary: I am actually very young, I am just 24 years old. But I would like to say to my fellow architects that we should not only think about creating good designs, but we should also think about the proper execution. We should focus on the smallest detail and elaborate it, so that everything on the site takes place in a controlled manner. For recently graduates, I would like to say, there is a lot to explore in this field and one should never stop learning and innovating.
