Interviewer: What Butterfly Edufields is about ?
Mr. Chandra: Butterfly Edufields’s primary motive is to provide learning aid for children through curriculum linked educational kits, their main focus currently being upon the STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Their educational products are primarily geared toward school-going children from the ages of 5 to 15.
Interviewer: what idea brought you to start this business?
Mr. Chandra : I remarks that the main purpose has always been to provide an additional layer to education, to make learning for children much more engaging and enriching than it is for many Indian kids in the current scenario, especially with how challenging and tricky the STEM subjects prove to handle for institutions around the nation with traditional educational methods. With this concept in mind, Butterfly Edufields was conceived and started by a group of IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) and IIM (Indian Institute of Management) graduates 12 years ago, way back in 2005.
Interviewer : What are the upcoming plans of company ?
Mr. Chandra : Butterfly Edufields partner with schools firsthand for most of their assignments, making it a more hands-on experience, though they also have services that are geared toward the online sector and more non-traditional channels of distribution. They’ve established their presence on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and plan to take another step toward that direction through finding the partners. Thus, finding the right partners for their business, may they be on-ground related or in the field of e-commerce, is their primary goal for being here today at this trade exhibition. They already cater to a substantial number of students across the nation, with their kits having significant presence in 17 states, while Butterfly Edufields continually seek to expand furthermore and become a truly pan-Indian educational institution, thus taking their message of education that children invest their attention into to every child in the nation.
